Kingston is a city in and the county seat of Ulster County, New York, United States. It is 91 miles (146 km) north of New York City and 59 miles (95 km) south of Albany. It became New York's first capital in 1777, and was burned by the British on October 13, 1777, after the Battles of Saratoga. In the 19th century, the city became an important transport hub after the discovery of natural cement in the region, and had both railroad and canal connections. Passenger rail service has since ceased, and many of the older buildings are part of three historic districts, such as the Stockade District uptown, the Midtown Neighborhood Broadway Corridor, and the Rondout-West Strand Historic District downtown.

Was there while servicing my car across the street. Had a very nice burger. There are about 7 different burgers all at 9.95 each with fries. I read some posts about prices which were wrong. 9.95 for a good burger with different toppings is reasonable. I told them the bun could have been better but enjoyed the burger. Staff very nice.

A friend and I visited here because reviews on a different website said it was good.It was awful. The only good thing was the lovely waitress who was friendly and kind.My omelette wasnât cooked and when the waitress told the cook, she said âoh itâs from the spinach and tomatoesâ in the veggie omelette. Nope. Uncooked eggs. I could only eat one bite. I also saw her cooking the âhash browns.â I saw her take handfuls of what looked like dehydrated potatoes from a white square container. She put them on the grill and squirted them with some sort of liquid. They didnât even taste like potatoes, but like salty slime.Spare yourself the trouble and find someplace else to eat.

As part of our mission to "Visit Small Town USA, one diner at a time" On our way back on New Year's morning we stopped in here to get bite for breakfast. What a great place - coffee is some of the best we've ever had. Breakfast had to be locally sourced as it was all so fresh. Mark this on your map when you're in the area!

Weâve stopped at this diner before on our way back from visiting family in New Jersey and remembered it being as good as any diner. Good coffee, low prices, and courteous and prompt service. After our most recent visit we will not be back. I donât really know what was going on but the two servers on duty were arguing with each other within earshot of customers. We are pretty sure our server gave us the wrong orders. My wifeâs sandwich (we realized later) came on the wrong bread. She ordered whole wheat and got rye. Our server never came back to refill our coffee until we flagged her down and asked, and never refilled our water glasses once. The food seemed fine but I donât know if I would trust this place again.
