The surroundings are beautiful, rural and quiet. The building is just beautiful and the restaurant cosy and warm. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and the staff had an instinctive feeling for our needs and didn't try to rush. Good wine list!

Recommended by the hotel (Sorell) we enjoyed an excellent dinner in a very cozy, busy and plenty of energy place.Very friendly, multilingual and fast staff. Food was delicious, good wine list and reasonable price. Maybe because it was packed, we found it a bit too noisy. Seems to be a very popular place in St.Gallen.

I was fortunate enough to stay with local people in Flawil, Switzerland. They treated us to a special evening meal in the Raan Thai Isaan Rosengarten restaurant. It was their favourite place to eat and they were on first name terms with the owner. I had a delicious rice dish in the little garden behind the main restaurant. The cook is from Thailand, she cooks delicious meals.

Wir waren im grossen Familienkreis zum Geburtstag dort. Im Sommer sitzt man herrlich draussen. Als wir kamen zündete der Koch gerade den Grill an, so dass die Gäste an zwei Tischen inmitten der Rauchschwaden sassen. Das lässt sich sicher besser lösen. Die junge Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell und auch das Essen kam zügig. Leider wird im Pflüegli das Cordon Bleu (29 Franken) nur vom Schwein und nicht vom Kalb angeboten, und leider floss beim Aufschneiden gleich der ganze Käse auf den Teller. Wir glauben aber an das junge Team und freuen uns auf einen weiteren Besuch.
