Tully's Seafood Market and Snack Shack is you stop for fresh local seafood, breakfast sandwiches, lunch and cold cuts. Stop on your way to or from the beach!
Well, this place is unfortunately, under new ownership/management. It is so much worse than beforeâ¦.it was great before, actually. Our friends dined there, inside, in the rear part of the restaurant, and pronounced every single dish terrible. I ate at the outdoor part of the restaurant, in the front, and my Manhattan clam chowder was the worst I have had. Plus, the new menu has such tiny text, posted on the exterior wall, that it is almost impossible to read. In its former incarnation, the menu was posted large and legibly outside - very user-friendly. Do not waste your time or money here, no matter how hungry you are. There are so many better places to go.
Hampton Bays Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Hampton Bays
I've been to the Melrose Deli several times sine coming up to Hampton Bays for the summer. It is a good value for freshly prepared "fast food". It can be a bit intimidating your first trip if you don't know what to expect, but it's worth a stop. They have a nice Hot food line for both lunch and dinner featuring different beef, pork, chicken and fish dishes. The average meal is about $7.95 and includes your protein and two sides. I usually get the Carne or pork with yellow rice and sweet plantains or a cucumber salad. Their home made beef and chicken soups are outstanding too.

From the outside, it's a hole-in-the-wall place in a small strip mall. Inside, it's a very pleasant-looking, well kept place that smells great. Cold cuts are top notch, and the sub sandwiches are a little bit different (roast beef with cheddar, dressed with teriyaki sauce). Subs were quite good, but not huge and overstuffed. 9 subs, 2 bags of chips, $82, including tax. We'd go back.
Where to eat Italian food in Hampton Bays: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This is a regular stop when we visit the area. Long lines on weekend mornings tell the story of quality bagels and good service. Donât let those lines stop you! They move fast as this establishment has a system of fast, friendly service.
This deli has been in business for as long as I can remember and is the best one in town. Growing up in Hampton Bays, I always made regular visits their for the egg sandwiches, the butter rolls, and the deli sandwiches. They are a true NY deli by far!

Scotto's has always had wonderful takeaway Italian food. Their addition of the wine bar, where you can sip on a glass of great wine while enjoying a personal pizza or slice, PLUS have the great service and conversation with their wine bar staff (we love Sarah and Brittany!) - it's the perfect way to wrap up your day. Then take some fabulous food out to heat up or serve for tomorrow night's dinner and you're set. Their weekly dinner specials to take-away are reasonably priced and delicous as well! Check them out!
