There are so very good places in Canandaigua to get great subs, however, it's getting to the place where my husband chooses the Subway shop because their bread is "softer". When you get older, chewing can get harder, and he prefers getting his subs here because of that. It's a clean, well run store.

If you enjoy a saucier wing that's nice and meaty, this is a favorite place of mine. They are not just a pizza place and have a wide variety of foods available for take out or eat in at the neighboring restaurant. I've never been disappointed.

We enjoy Subway because their bread is softer than many, and right now for my husband, that is a concern. At this store, they do an "ok" job on their subs and it is decently clean. There was some confusion on an order my husband got "to go" the last time we went there, but I guess that can happen sometimes. I just get pretty frustrated when the sandwich isn't as you asked for it.

This is our second visit and not as good as the previous visit. Again we visited on a Friday evening when they were very busy. The service was quick but hardly thorough. I got the broiled fish which tasted great. I wanted a baked potato which was not available. Choices were mashed or French Fries so I asked for no potatoes. The waitress did not offer any other substitutes. The fish portion was about 6 oz with a half a cup of coleslaw. My wife had the same dish but the waitress forgot her Fries. The noise level was so loud that I had to turn off my hearing aids.

Our sandwiches (Italian and ham) were just average. Service was fine and friendly. Prices were high. The restaurant was uncomfortably noisy. Hard surfaces everywhere amplified the noise of piped in music, kitchen sounds, customer conversations, and many screaming kids (don't know why their parents or restaurant staff put up with it). We don't recommend it.fbglove, We encourage a family experience at our deli and welcome families with children to eat and enjoy our atmosphere. Sorry that you found it noisy and that you felt that your sandwiches were just average. We are very proud of the product we build and hopefully you can try us again and hopefully there will be no screaming kids.
