MILLION DOLLAR VIEW。 Ocean front cottages. Nestled between two mountains, the view is magnificent with cottages overlooking the harbour and ocean! Only minutes from the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, our location is perfect to enjoy all the activities that the Ingonish area is famous for. In the summer enjoy sandy beaches, swimming, golfing at the award-winning Highlands Links, hiking and tennis. Guided hiking is available for an approximately one hour hike on a private hiking trail directly across from our property. There are also whale watching tours nearby. In the winter months experience some amazing back-country skiing, wilderness snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on miles of scenic groomed trails in the highlands. Knotty Pine consists of 10 pine cottages, 4 with fireplaces, with a fabulous view overlooking Ingonish Harbour and the Atlantic ocean.
Harbour front cottages with amazing views and impeccably clean! We were in Room 4 which is a duplex but very private, quiet and with a private deck overlooking the harbour. Coffee pot, microwave, kettle, toaster and refrigerator is provided in the room. The family that owns/runs these cottages is great and they have a few food items for sale in the office. If you're arriving late it is a bit remote so try and bring something to eat. Parking is outside the cottage.

These rustic cottages are well appointed and very clean. Contactless checkin implemented for COVID. They have a walking path to the beach which is just across the road. Nice walk through the woods that opens up to a beautiful beach with panoramic views. Second time I have been here and would recommend it for sure.

I spent 6 weeks in Cheticamp for work and had the pleasure of staying at this B&B. I was met on arrival by one of the staff who accommodated everything that I needed: gave me space in the garage to store a road bike and a paddle board as well as providing local knowledge of great activities to try (hiking, swimming, paddling, fishing etc). The room itself had an ocean view which provided stunning sunsets nightly. The dock across from the property was busy with local lobster and crab fishermen as my stay was during the fishing season - this was occasionally noisy but I couldn't hear anything over the heat pump/air conditioning so despite reading previous reviews of this location being "noisy", I found it quiet and lovely. The breakfast included a well appointed assortment of healthy and tasty food (everything from hard boiled eggs and oatmeal to banana chocolate chip muffins and local fresh bread). The location was ideal: walking distance to all town attractions, the grocery store, gym, etc. Most importantly, the staff were truly delightful! They made me feel extremely welcome and as if I was the only guest there. They were professional and courteous with a warm hospitality. I highly recommend this B&B and I will be staying there again!
