Distinctive architecture, sun-drenched resorts and eclectic small towns dot Andalusia, a dry, mountainous region of southern Spain that maintains echoes of its Moorish occupation. Spring and fall bring balmy temperatures, ideal for visiting Seville's cathedral, the world's largest Gothic structure, and the 1,200-year-old mosque in Córdoba. Romantics love Granada, home to the fortress of Alhambra and an inspiration to the late poet Federico García Lorca. Don't miss a dip in the sea along the Costa del Sol.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a room with balcony which had a breathtaking view. The room was simply furnished but was immaculate and had everything one needs, including tea/coffee. Breakfast was very good and plentiful but odd that ordinary filtered or bottled water is not offered. We have travelled all over the world and this is a first. The hosts are very helpful and provide excellent information about Rondas main attractions and places to eat. We had dinner at 2 places on their list both of which were excellent: Almocabar and Puerto Grande

Idyllic surroundings with 360 degree lake and mountain views. Secure 12 X 6m pool, games room, swing park, mini golf and ball games area. All cottages (one and two bedrooms) are air-conditioned and have English and Spanish TV. Special facilities for small children, with lots of items provided to allow you to travel without excess bagage. (High chairs, cots, sterilisers, toys, books, baby baths etc). Ideal walking country and we can supply detailed routes for local walks.
Beautiful views from this small group of cottages with attached restaurant. Lovely clean and uncrowded pool with loungers. Nicky was very helpful and gave us ideas for days out. You will need a hire car to make the most of this lovely area. Extremely tranquil and restful holiday.

We visited on a chilly weekend in November and had a very relaxing 2 night stay. It is great place to get away from it all and for lovely walks and hikes in the countryside. It is a little tricky to find but once there, just a short walk into the village to some great little restaurants. Breakfast was lovely. Would love to return, especially in the summer to take advantage of one of the swimming pools!

The Best Experience! The Host (Juan) of the place was very patient as there were more than 20 of us who came to use the place. He got everything we needed, bought us breakfast every morning and sorted out everything that we requested for, he bought us party decorations when it was requested. How grateful we were. All the rooms, bedrooms, living rooms and apartment were comfortable and air-conditioned. The Location has its challenges as its located in a rural area and therefore transport may prove to be a difficulty. However, Juan organised a taxi mini bus to transport us to and from the shops and local attractions for a reasonable price. Also, everyone had a siesta for a few hours especially during the hottest hours of the day. Overall, We really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially large groups. We're planning to go again.

Located immediately next to a great, dog-friendly beach, it is very easy to pop back and forth for lunch and a siesta. Los Caños is a quiet village, yet has many fantastic, little bars and restaurants. For walkers, there are wonderful trails through gorgeous pine forests that surround the village. Mandala is perfect for couples looking for a self-catering holiday - the apartments are very clean and being an adults only set of bungalows, you can enjoy peace and quiet. In the evening, the apartments are cooled by a sea breeze. The owner greets you with a warm welcome and a map of all the best beach bars to watch the sun set. I’d recommend the bungalow with terrace. There are two hippy markets a short stroll away. This part of Spain is very gay-friendly and the beach had a totally inclusive feel with families, gay couples, nudists all chilling in the sun - we love this part of Spain and will definitely return!
