Muchas Muchas Gracias.I had such a great time entering randomly in that Gastrobar at the end of my 40th birthday. While the manager gave me kindly directions information I realised there were warm authentic spaniards inside. As they figured out it was a special day, the Manager offered me a birthday cake and clients some drinks. Staff were dancing. Not too mention: chocolate toffee crema, tenerife cheese, and jamon olive very tasty. I am sure they decided to close later than expected :)

This is a simple restaurant specializing in local cuisine. The food was really excellent and fantastic value. Overall the staff were friendly although the service was a little slow at the end as the restaurant had filled very quickly. We walked in without a reservation and there was no waiting time, however, given how busy they always seem to be reserving beforehand may be a good idea. This turned out to be the best meal of our holiday. Would recommend to anyone visiting La Laguna and would go back again.

We were told by the hotel this is the best restaurant in La Laguna an frankly I was going to title the review "pretentious rubbish" - but that would have been a bit harsh. The decoration is awful and the menus have a ridiculous colour coding with 14 allergens listed. The service is inept and the food is frankly just not very good.I had a decent cod but it was on a bed of dry potato and too-sweet onion; the burgers had decent meat but in buns that you would expect frozen in a 12-pack from a very cheap supermarket. Some decent ravioli had been fried (why?).Just not great.

Tasca Tipica Canaria, Muy Bien Decorada, Comida Bien Elaborada, Buen Trato Y No Es Cara,
I had previously eaten at this restaurant (about 3 years ago) so it was easy to decide again for a nice dinner. The service was even better than the first time and the food was simply excellent. We shared assorted croquettes and beef steak which was cooked just right. The three sauces - alioli, mojo rojo and roquefort were a delicious supplement. I also had the soup of the day, which was a pumpkin cream soup with garlic spiced croutons and aged gouda cheese. Everything was perfect and reasonably priced.

I booked this restaurant for my birthday dinner on a mini break to Tenerife with my nine friends. The staff really looked after us and the food was amazing. The 'racion' portions are generous which we loved.. but we slightly over ordered having 3 each!!! It was great to try so many of the fabulous dishes though xThanks a lot Lucy for your kindest review and for celebrating your birthday in our house. We hope to see you again.

As a local, I found this as a pleasant surprise. Local Canarian cuisine with a touch of originality. Rice is the speciality, and it's amazing. We tried the "arriz casero de la Punta" and we loved it. The dessert "quesillo" is presented as an ashtray with its cigarette, very original and delicious in taste. If you are not a fan of rice, the tapas will satisfy you. I recommend the papas negras,a real delicacy in here, also the arepas.
