This theatre is run by the amateur members to near professional standards. We have been visiting for over forty years and have very rarely been disappointed. Many of the productions were outstanding. As well as theatre productions by the resident Company of Ten there are other events by visiting amateur and professionals. We will continue attending.

I recently took my two 6-year old great nephew and niece twins to see Sleeping Beauty at the Alban Arena. Rather than going all the way to Hackney for the panto, this is a wonderful find. Parking is easy with the car park right next door and there is a huge choice of child-friendly eateries nearby. The arena is well organised and although huge, it was extremely welcoming. The performance was lovely and the twins enjoyed it very much and so did I at the more adult level of the political asides. I looked at the forthcoming program of events. Great choice if you live in North London or Hertfordshire. I shall definitely be going again.
