I love this place-it is handicapped accessible-others places are not in Sunderland-walk ins welcome-other places require weird nights only reservations-the food and show are great-the atmosphere just right-and the soup-DELICIOUS..I go as often as I can-such a resource-friendly to boot !

We have taken out many times from this local joint, and it has always been serviceable. I have also given it a positive review. However, this last occasion provided us with the lowest rung of mediocrity. Without elaborating, we could tell that the dumplings were fried using oil that had been used with seafood. The vegetable lo-mein sort of had some vegetables.I could go on. I don't know if it was the cook's night off, or just scrimping. I am certain that this review will have no bearing on their clientele--if they read such reviews--but it is too bad that a local venue serving passable fare should be so foul.

We just stopped in on a whim, deciding to treat our daughter who was in for an overnight visit from college, to a non home cooked meal. The restaurant was quiet, but the friendly waitress promptly made us feel at home. We ordered separate pieces from the extensive menu, and composed a meal complete with tea and appetizers. There were delicious leftovers for the next day (s).

Family owned and run, you will never find a cleaner kitchen in a restaurant, and it's completely open so take a peek. The food is fresh and very good - in an American Chinese food way. The chicken wings are the best I've ever had! Everything is good - it is my family's go to take out for Chinese food!

Having eaten here often over the years, my friends and I have enjoyed good food and especially good lunches. Lately, however, frequent errors present cause for concern. For example, a pot of hot tea on the table is useless without teacups; when white rice was ordered, brown rice was brought. Most glaring of all, fortune cookies should arrive with the check, please. We should not have to wait ten minutes and finally ask for them. The latter error occurred twice within a week. Some other friends of ours have opted to start dining elsewhere, citing their own issues with service. My suggestion to management is that some time be spent on staff retraining. This is a good restaurant that deserves to be brought up to speed when it comes to consistent customer service. I look forward to its improvement.
