I'd heard good things about Noodle King from some friends who are fans of this spot, and I was not disappointed when I went there for lunch today with two friends. I loved the fresh pots of flowers outside the restaurant and it was also great to see a sign proclaiming 'One of America's Top 100 Chinese Restaurants' on the door as we walked in. We were shown to seats immediately and quickly had our first order - steamed meat dumplings - delivered to our table. We also ordered fried tofu, Singapore Noodles, and Shrimp and Cashews. Portions are plentiful and we enjoyed our meal a great deal. The restaurant was quick to accommodate our need to eliminated green peppers - one of us cannot eat them. We will return!

Restaurant's decor is above-average for a neighborhood Asian restaurant: separate bar area, low-key lighting. Service reasonably attentive, although overstretched on the night I ate there. Had to flag down the waiter to order. The menu is extensive and covers Chinese, Japanese, and Thai go-tos. From reading prior Trip Advisor reviews I selected the bento box dinner. Unfortunately the menu wasn't clear on what was, and wasn't included as options for the box, so I ended up with two portions of tempura shrimp. The shrimp were over-breaded to the point where I had to pull off 90% of the breading. However, the tempure vegetables had balanced breading-to-vegetable.The accompanying salad was tasty but the miso soup was bland dishwater. The California roll portion of the bento box featured brownish avocado and also tasted bland. I would be fine returning to Red Maple if I were really local and really wanted Asian food, but don't travel any distance to check it out.

My buddy and I went to Sui's for something different. The people are friendly and fast to provide service. I had the tofu and vegetable lunch special. It was OK. There were plenty of vegetables and the tofu was cooked right but I wasn't a fan of the sauce.

This excellent food place is a welcomed addition to the community. Mostly every dish is delightful but beware - some of the recipes might benefit from a reduction of the amount of spices included. It would be lovely to have the option of having a particular dish mild or spicy!Hi. Thanks for the kind review and glad you enjoyed the review.Just as an FYI, every entree on our menu is cooked to taste. If you want it less sweet, spicy, salty or anything in between all you have to do is ask. Every "taste" modifier you can imagine is on our point-of-sale system. It all prints out in Chinese in the kitchen too. :)

For a Vegetarian restaurant the food was excellently prepared and serve. As a person that is a non vegetarian I really liked the food and the combination of herbs and spices made this a memorable meal with family. Highly recommend it.

Had some decent Chinese dishes - including the crispy eggplant which is particularly tasty - but would say the restaurant tries many types of food (Chinese, sushi, Thai) that limits some of the chinese variety. They tend to have the classic Chinese dishes. The sushi was mediocre. Not great/not bad.
