Sooo disappointed, used to get good food here but was so surprised last time we ordered. Had Won Ton Egg Drop soup that tasted like rusty water, NEVER had such terrible soup, could not eat it!! Egg Rolls were so over fried you could not even bite into them. General Taos Chicken was overly sweet, BUT the Moo Goo Gai Pan was pretty good. Sorry but one out of four is not good enough. Will not return.

Ordered shrimp tempura roll- fresh and absolutely delicious! Chicken Panang curry with pork fried rice not so good. First of all doesn't go with pork fried rice! Bland and chicken was mushy and a funky texture. Partner ordered chicken chow mien and she felt the same way about the chicken. Wonton soup bland and tasted like chicken stock. So overall I didn't feel like I was taken for a ride like Prime because the meal was $5.95. Would go back for sushi only and skip the meals. Oh and everything is served on styrofoam with plastic ware so not a date night!

This was our first time eating their food. We ordered delivery. House Lo Mein and Almond Chicken. Everything was just ok including the egg rolls. I did like the wonton soup more than others. We will stick to our regular Chinese restaurant. Was hoping to find a hidden gem with no success.

Asked for general tsobchicken white meat don't mind paying an extra dollar, but sent it back it should be called general tso breading. Had a good taste but missing the chicken. We won't be back. The altitude was that is the way it is. Finally grabbed my plate went off into the kitchen returned with no food. Took my food off the bill. By the way the egg roll thumbs down. Left me with dried pork fried rice no sauce. Not good!!!!!

I have seen mixed reviews about this Chinese Buffet restaurant, and I decided for my birthday that even though we (my husband and I), practically live down the street from this restaurant, and had never been, that I should just ignore the bad ratings, and go out for dinner on my birthday to try out the place for myself. We walked in the restaurant, and was seated in a booth that had a ripped seat, and the upholstery was sticking upward and jabbing me in my leg. Our waitress looked a little surprised when I tried to explain to her that the seat was jabbing my leg. She moved us to the next booth. I was noticing there were rips in chairs, and scratches and worn areas on the tables. The decor in this restaurant is dated, and not very attractive. It has a yellow wall, with a green trim, and a red oriental designed rug. The rug was dirty, and had a lot of stains. There were crumbs everywhere on the carpeting. The ceiling was dirty looking, and had large dust bunnies around the vents in the ceiling. (definitely poor maintenance)I'm very familiar with buffet food, since we cruise a lot and prefer the buffets on cruise ships, therefore I really am not picky. And since this was my birthday, I wanted it to be a very good memory for my husband and I, so I chose to ignore the decor of the place, and the condition it was in.Now I'll fast forward to the food. It was not very good, and that's putting it nicely. The fried shrimp was overcooked and dry, the bourbon chicken was dry, the mei fun was not very tasty, and the noodles were chopped in little pieces. There was really nothing on the buffet that tasted good enough for me to want seconds. It was almost like the food had been sitting in the back under warmers for a long time. Otherwise, just can't explain why the meets and seafood were so dryThey have a dish (don't remember what it's called), and it had imitation crab legs in it, which tasted mushy. The mashed potatoes didn't taste good. I don't mind instant potatoes at all, but these seemed to be watered down. My husband and I, both got the stuffed shriimp, and once we took a bite, neither one of us liked it.When it came to desserts, I figured that should go rather well, however, the apple pie had hard apples, and not very sweet. The tapioca pudding had an odd taste, and the chocolate putting was watery. We went on a Monday night, and it was packed with people. Our bill came to about $28.00, and that included our sweet ice tea drinks. There were no crab legs, because they only have them on Friday - Sunday nights, and it's about an add'l $5.00 a person to go on a night that they have crab legs.I will not be returning. I was really hoping that we were going to enjoy the food, since it's so close to where we live, and would have made a nice place to go out for a dinner now and then. Looks like that won't be happening. I have no plans to set foot back in the North Port China Buffet.I am so sorry for your experience, and Thank you for pointing out all the down side we didnât do well at it.The boothes I started changing leather on it. the carpets, we are planing on change them. Celling tile and the dirt, I will schedule people keep routines clean and change a part of it.I will keep checking the cleanlines. For the food , most time I come , it looks good. I guess during the time at late night, when they start cleaning kitchen or 3:30 around they changing dinner, they might didnât pay well attention on it.I was talking to the food manager , tell him always keep eyes on the bar, make sure food keep freshest as we can.Sorry again for your discounted experience, and I hope we can still serve you in future.
