Our children took us there for their Mothers Birthday which was a very nice surprise even though I ended up paying!). It is located in the Joondalup CBD with plenty of car parking available across the road or in the shopping centre behind it.Never having been to a Dim Sum Restaurant I was quite surprised as to how it worked with staff bringing trolleys around laden with many different varieties of food, all of which tasted very good. I can't remember exactly what we had but all of it was great and very different from the normal Chinese type meals. There were 6 of us and we must of had about 15 different varieties of food as well as Chinese Green Tea (copious amounts) all of which cost $144 for the six of us which isn't bad given the amount of food that we ate.The only annoying thing (for some at least) is that the restaurant does not split the bill so you have to nominate someone to pay and sort it out later. It wasn't until I paid the bill that I noticed that it was also licensed to sell alcohol. This didn't bother me at the time as it was lunch but is useful to know if you went their for dinner. All in all a very good experience and very enjoyable.

We had dinner at this restaurant a week ago with relatives from Adelaide and although the food was delicious the toilets were disgusting. We went to the toilets and the door leading into the toilet was dirty and the toilet (one only) was disgustingly dirty with only paper towel as toilet paper. Our relative from Adelaide commented that she hoped the kitchen was not the same as the toilets. Disappointing because the food was delicious but more attention needs to be paid to the washroom facilities.John & Gail Laney

Went to Mr Ho in Clarkson for our daughter in laws birthday. The food was great and service is good. It is a BYO restaurant and when we left the hostess told us they do more takeaway than people eating at the restaurant. The food is reasonably priced and very nice.

Went here last week for a family birthday , good thing we made a booking for 6.30pm (Friday) as by the time we arrived the restaurant it was completely full...many other large family groups in the restaurant doing the same thing.I have been coming here for years , the food is always good , there was plenty of staff on hand and they let us bring a birthday cake in to celebrate, it was a most enjoyable nite will continue to keep coming.A favourite , give it a try.

We recently went back to Connolly Chinese, ordered five main course takeaways and, well we were somewhat disappointed. Perhaps even felt they were all pretty average really (we're unsure if itâs the oil that they use or what?). Not sure where those âdelicious authentic cuisineâ reviews got their experiences from, but perhaps those dining in, is a different experience from their take-away, perhaps? We also noticed that in comparison to other Asian type restaurants around, for some reason their takeaway seems to be far more expensive - just for Chinese takeaway!

I donât know where to start with this review, the floors and chairs have caked on dirt. Pigeons eating food off plates that patrons left behind as staff are too slack to pick up the dirty plates in a timely manner. Pigeons eating off the floor inside the café and staff ignoring this issue? Our food was bland and tasteless and whilst trying to eat the meal was put off every time I noticed something grimy at the cafe. The man at the next table to us return a meal as it had a rubber band in his meal? How does a chef not notice a rubber band in a meal that is being served to a customer? Our meals looked ok when they were delivered to us, large portions but lacked any decent flavour. Disappointing customer service, disappointing food and questionable cleanliness.
