Alona Beach is full of very average places serving very average (or worse) food which is often overpriced. Lotus is the exception.The chef has come from a 5 star hotel in Boracay, and it's easy to tell compared to other places. The food is excellently cooked, and presented like you would expect in a 5 star hotel.Prices are probably 20% higher than elsewhere, but you feel you get what you are paying for, which isn't the case elsewhere.I can recommend the pan seared tuna, the spicy squid and the lechon.Drinks were standard prices.The staff were well trained, attentive and efficient.Lotus is the best restaurant that I tried in Alona, by a big margin. Recommended.

We have eaten here four times over two years. The food is second to none, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is great. We have had lobster, We highly recommend this restaurant. We have been here a few times now , and I truly feel this is the best restaurant on the island. The service is amazing, it feels like you're in fine dining place, with staff so in tune that your every need is taken care of immediately. And as far as the food goes, they have it down. Everything we've tried here is delicious and even more elevated than expected. The portions are quite large too which is a nice. I cannot recommend this place enough. The ownership is top notch. From the menu, the decor, staff training, and every detail, you can see the attention and thought in this place. Kuns stick and bowl knows what they're doing and is a great experience every time.
