If you crave a good Chinese Restaurant with value for your buck along with top dishes "The Jade Pavillion" is it. Southern China influenced "Cantonese" style. Comfortable seating, clean and we loved it. Recomended to us and we are fussy, we wern't disappointed. Ken the chef/owner originally learnt his craft in old Hong Kong. We just came back from Hong Kong and Ken"s was better, Kim his wife was a delight. The great reviews are fact. BYO wine also licenced so cheap. Book ahead for dinner they get very busy, no wonder.

I have always come past the Olinda tea house but on the occasions we tried it was closed. Today was our lucky day. We stopped off for lunch and the food, service and style was perfect. Attentive, fast service. Delicious food. Gorgeous surroundings despite the freezing cold weather. A definite go to and will 100% come back - especially when warmer.
Happy Family Restaurant offers a delicious authentic Chinese cuisine, specialising in Dumplings and Street Food. Great menu, including vegetarian options and meals servings are generous. The Restaurant opens 11 am daily, 7 days a week for dine-in and take
Not your normal Chinese restaurant. Relatively small seating arrangements with little decor. Caters for eat in and takeaway. Promote Chinese banquet at a very reasonable cost. BYO wine (did not charge corkage). Food quite acceptable. Generally large portions. Owners very welcoming and attentive.

Went there with friends on a Saturday night. The atmosphere didn't grab us as the whole restaurant was lit up very bright and there was a TV on as if we were in a sports bar. However the service was good and the food was generous and very tasty. The decor of the restaurant is actually pretty good, but they need to work on making this place cosier with dimmed lights and definitely no TV!

Haven't been to sit in yet but ordered a takeaway and wasn't disappointed. Generous portions of meat and fresh vegetables, although a very limited vegetarian menu (they think that oyster sauce is vegetarian). Free prawn crackers were good and the vegetable rice was nice. Spring rolls were a bit stodgy but the chicken wings and dumplings were great. Would try it again.
