I love this place! Went for lunch with my parents. Lovely place beside the river. Cosy inside. I am coeliac and dairy free and they were so helpful! Adjusted recipes to my needs and went out of their way to accommodate me. The chips are gluten-Free as they are cooked in separate fryers! Had beautiful steak with chips and gorgeous vegetables. Will go back.

It is rare to enjoy such a lunch. The restaurant is located so that if one does not know the area so you have to have GPS to find this gem. Our host told us that it requires reservation far in advance on weekends. When we visited the restaurant it was a broad mix of guests. From the retired couple to business lunch guests. Friendly staff and excellent service. I hade grilled lamb for main course and it was perfectly grilled. Nice hors d'oeuvres served before the main course. For the coffee and the finish came a tray of goodies that no one could resist.

located in the former stables of the local chateau, this restaurant is family owned. The restauration of the building is very nice and adds a special touch to the evironment. The food is brassery level of very good quality and the service is excellent. The wine is well adapted.Worth while a visit, certainly in spring/summer, when the terrace is open. It has a superb view on the park.

After a 15km walk around Hingene on a more than warm autumn Sunday the promise of drinks in garden at d'Oude Poort looked promising. The beer menu is varied with a selection of local beers to boot. The service was brusque and businesslike, with a touch of irritation. Nevertheless we were not going to let this spoil our day.I had an Orval. Others in our party had a Boerineke, La Chouffe, an Bornem Trippel. After settling the bill, a 'reserved" sign was thrown on our table as if to quicken our departure. Pity about this apathetic attitude. The pub seems a nice enough place.

one star michelin at a reasonble price - I appreciated the market menu's and- really good idea- accompanied" by BOB formula "wines. Hence , you can still drink the wines at at half the glass enabling you to enjoy without the fear of drinking too much. The terrace with green surroundings is really lovely! Service was swift and friendly. Cheese of the dessert tray offered a really large selection to choose from. This was my third time here but I will surely come back again.
