There were 4 people in the cafe when we arrived. Coffee was made asap but it took over 45 minutes to receive two pancakes with Nutella. It had no Nutella but peanut butter instead! We also wanted some granola with fruit but they didnât have half of the ingredients. And it was at 11am on Saturday.

I was craving for Banh Mi cuz Iâm Vietnamese so I eat banh mi every breakfast. Found this place and my VangVieng trip was way easier. Banh Mi was 8000k, cheaper than other shops in the tourist spot, thereâre a variety ranges of Bubble tea: matcha, chocolate, peach flavors, u name it, the bubble tea tasted as good. Mostly people take away but thereâre 2 tables and benches that you can stay and grab your banh mi, if youâre not into somewhere fancy but satisfy the taste bud then this place is a defo go-to

The girl on reception is just soo nice, she is so smiley and always says hi and asks about your day and she was so helpful. We wanted to stay for 4 nights but for some reason it was working out double the price for the 3rd & 4th night on bookin g.com so we just booked for 2 nights, we asked about staying another 2 nights when we arrived in the hostel and they said it was fine and it would be the same price as the 1st two. All in all 40,000 kip for a double room with a bathroom, air con, toiletries, towels, breakfast and free whiskeyThe room was comfortable and we had a balcony.Breakfast was nice, we mostly had eggs and toast, I tried the chicken noodle soup 1 morning and it was lovely. They serve fresh fruit with all of the options too.We had dinner here twice and the food was cheap and delicious especially the papaya salad. The free whiskey is 7pm to 10pm every night.
This is a funky looking cafe which is adorned with umbrellas that have been converted into lampshades hanging from the ceiling. There are 15 different food options to choose from. We had the pork skewers with sticky rice for 25000 kip. The dish came with five succulent well-marinated pork skewers. The food was divine and good value.

This place sure ain't much to look at. It has a grimy, dirty look and I certainly wouldn't be coming here for the regular menu. Apart from the grime, service is painstakingly slow (a common problem in Laos), though the owner was friendly when he finally arrived. There is a secret menu here, which is what draws most people. It tends to be quite expensive but for around 70,000- 100,000 kip you can have some sort of mind-altering evening. Enough said.
