Outstanding grilled to order burgers the old fashion way. Sandwiches are made to order and my wife had a chicken salad which was excellent.Onion rings are as good as they orget!Located in downtown square with very nice shops. However it is 3 or 4 miles from babyland ask for directions.

They make a mighty fine espresso! I tried all the coffee shops in Helen and this was my favorite. They also have a variety of other coffee and tea drinks if you want something less basic. The owner was super friendly and made a new drink for my friend when she forgot to specify soy milk for her latte (lactose intolerance) and he happily made a new one for her free of charge even though it was her forgetting to mention that. We ended up walking across the street to Kopek Kettle Fudge that they also own and yum, that's good too!

Stopped by for the first time on 8/13/19 ordering two entrees and potato cake which were good, the knockwurst were good, our waitress Hannah was awesome. A bit overpriced though.

We came to Helen for the weekend and it was the beginning of Octoberfest! This place was casual and great! We had a Bavarian Pretzel and beer cheese; it was a phenomenal appetizer to say the least.... I had the Reuben which was an amazing sandwich! It was grilled and smothered in cheese...also served with chips and a kosher pickle. My wife had the Roast Beef on a Kaiser Roll....served with chips and a kosher pickle, the warm air sitting outside and the river running beside our table was so relaxing and perfect to start our weekend.... this place was great recommend if in Helen Ga or near by!

We've relocated closer to town. 8797 Main St. Helen, Ga. We have the same great food - just a larger location. Come and sit in the Courtyard or inside and enjoy the view. Parking is available behind the restaurant.

Now this is the type of cafe I'd like to find in every city!Friendly staff even remembered our drink orders when we showed up the second time! Flavorful and fresh food. Excellent burgers, good chicken sandwiches and chicken salad, breakfast too. Knotty Pine interior was fun cabin like. Nice outside terrace but temps were in the 90's so we ate inside.A little tricky to find their sign doesn't show up well on the street but right next to Betty's. Small menu but everything was great. Super reasonable prices.

We've been in a few times. It's convenient and the sandwiches are good but by no means great. Ice cream servings are generous. The inside eating area is crowded and noist but the tables outside are pleasant enough. The staff are friendly, attentive and try to please.
