Me and my husband went for breakfast on a Monday morning. There was one other couple seated sipping coffee and waiting for there food. We ordered a latte and a beer while looking at menu. My husband ordered a ham and cheese omelet and I ordered tico breakfast. Several minutes passed and we noticed the other couple still did not have food. The wait staff , bartender and cooks were eating red velvet cake, scooping frosting with their fingers and licking them!!! 30 or so minutes went by, no waitress to see, if, we wanted another coffee or beer. Our food finally came out, my husband had a ham sandwich ( not what he ordered). My breakfast was fine, my husband sent his back. I ate my breakfast, it was good. To bad this place has poor work ethic and professionalism. We will never return to this place and we live here.

We stopped based on the reviews and Emilios did not disappoint. My daughter had the sandwich and it was so good we bought another to take to the park with us. We asked for extra curry sauce and she dipped her sandwich in it and made it even better.I had the sea bass with mashed potatoes, vegetables and curry sauce. After picking myself up off the floor after the first bite, I agree with the other reviewers. This was out of this world good. I am salivating as I write this review just thinking about it. Do they mail their food to the USA? So good.I wish we had room for dessert, but sadly did not. A must stop when in Manuel Antonio.

Stopped in Friday evening for early dinner and, with four waitresses and zero guests, figured out service would not be a problem.Wrong. Left after ten minutes because waitstaff was way more interested in visiting each other than doing their job.So cannot comment re food or drinks obviously, but the attitude was the worst during our many visits to CR.We are so very sorry to hear this and are even more upset than you are. It is always a challenge in any business to keep the energy high and a staff focused when business is slow however we trusted our staff to be professional enough to navigate that and in accordance with their training. We are thankful you brought this to our attention as we only want to be great as a company. Without our customers there is no Cafe Milagro. A staff meeting is in order to refresh everyone as to why we are here and what our purpose is. If do find yourself in the area again we hope you will give us another chance. Pura Vida.

While on a cruise we stopped for gelato before going back to the ship.We chose cappuccino caramel and salted caramel. Both really good.
