Located in the traffic free Plaza de Pradollano immediately next to the ski lifts (2-person chair lift & telecabina/gondola).Enter the restaurant via a single door & down a couple of steps. The interior is on split levels with tiled flooring, partial tiled walls to dado height, fully wood panelled walls decorated with skiâs & ski-related framed photos, large old barrels etc add to the atmosphere of an âalpine eateryâ. Tables & chairs are quite well spaced & set with red tablecloths & white overlay.Small, but well stocked bar. Draught beer, good selection of spirits, coffees etc.Reasonably varied menú offering tapas, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizzaâs, various combinations, menú del dia very reasonably priced at â¬11.50.Did not eat here so cannot comment on the quality of the food, but seeing other customers being served the food looked to be well presented generous portions.Staff seemed a little sullen but were efficient. âService with a smileâ wouldnât go amiss. A smattering of English is spoken.Ample outside seating on the cobblestoned Plaza.Toilets are very small & cramped, but fit for purpose.Not a wheelchair/disabled friendly venue - other than the exterior. A pleasant little restaurant which will be used again when next in this ski village.

Here I am really impressed! We popped in for a coffee and a brandy. To night later we popped in again - and the waiter remembered us! I do not know how many people that visits this place every day, but that the staff remember you after just one visit, that tells me that these guys really want to take care of their customers. Kudos!

Summer time: Great place to stop after a long hike in the mountains. Easy parking, right in front of the chalet.Winter time: Same but with the difference you may ski there as long as there are snow in the Virgen de las Nieves area. You will get great food and great service for a very good price.The views are breathtaking, and you will have the chance to taste real tapas at 2.000 mts. above the sea level for very reasonables prices considering you are in Sierra Nevada. The owner is a very nice guy and makes sure you and your friends get what you need.

After hiking the top we went for lunch in the village and chose La Visera. Dining outdoor at the terrace we had great view to the hills and to the summer activity centre. The food was very tasty. He had Pizza, Chicken fingers, burgers, nachos and chicken wings.
