This place is a Starbucks-like establishment located at the Inn at Patrick Square in Clemson, SC. We arrived at about 09:45 on a Friday and approached the counter. There were 3 people behind the counter and one turned and said "Hello" then went back to whatever it was he was doing. One person seemed to be making a breakfast dish and one was so engrossed in making a latte that he couldn't make eye contact. In any event, we looked at the display case at the muffins and other assorted pastries and then moved to the open counter area to order. Nothing happened. The one person remained engrossed in his latte making, and the other two continued with whatever it was that was so engrossing. All one had to do was say "Someone will be with you in a moment", but that apparently was too much trouble. We stood there several more minutes with no interest exhibited by the three people working there. At that point, since it was apparently too much trouble to acknowledge one of those pesky customer people, we left for another cafe. i know, the place is new, but a modicum of customer service would have been in order. We didn't expect them to drop what they were doing, but an acknowledgement of our presence after the initial "Hello" was in order. Since this place is attached to a boutique hotel, I wonder what the service will be like when Clemson plays a home game and the hotel is full.

Fabulous wine bar in Patrick Square offering well over 100 bottles of wine, 30 by the glass offerings and create your own flights! Clemson Wine Bar has amazing food options with choose your own Charcuterie boards, delectable paninis, small plates and much
A relatively new establishment in Clemson's complex, this small wine bar has a surprisingly complete wine list featuring mainly French, California, and New York wines. Hopefully in the future they can find some from good local vineyards. Cheese and meat trays as well as wine flights or simply by the glass or bottle are on offer. Prices are a little steep for the area but not out of line for the type of restaurant. The staff is attentive as well as informative and will guide the novice wine drinker without seeming to be condescending. Wines by the glass are either 2 oz pours or 6 oz (I think) glasses. For a flight you can pick as many wines as you want to sample and you'll get each one as a 2 oz pour for the stated price on their wine list. We had a flight with two white wines, a flight of 4 rose's, and a meat and cheese tray (2 meats & 3 cheeses, pretty small servings of each) for just under $40. Definitely recommend for at least one visit.
This tiny shop serves a wide variety of Borden's Ice Cream treats. The owner and staff are super friendly and are quick to offer customers a sample bite of the various flavors they currently carry. It's hard to be in Pendleton without stopping by for at least a single dip cone. If it's made with ice cream they probably can satisfy your craving. Although there is no inside seating they do have a fenced patio with picnic tables, toys and activities for kids and a corn hole game. You could miss it the first time you go, but it is diagonally across the street from the intersection of Exchange Street and East Main Street. Mama Rae's also does catering.

Pot Belly Deli (PBD) is a local and college establishment started in 1994.it is our pleasure and honer to have been part of the ever changing clemson scene.we offer breakfast lunch and dinner all day long, who said eggs were just for breakfast?we also have
This was our first visit to PBD and it wont be our last. Veggie soup was delicious. My wife had the one egg breakfast special while I had the three egg breakfast burrito. Great coffee. Order at the counter, leave your nsme, pay at the register, and they bring it to you. It's a busy place and I've seen Jerry Garcia's face more than once so methinks the owner is a Deadhead. 70's albums in plastic on the shelves brought back many memories.Thank you for your time and review, methinks you might be right

Wanted to go with my family for breakfast. Got there at around 10:35-10:40 on a Saturday and once we walked into the restaurant portion were informed that they were no longer serving breakfast and lunch would start at 11:15. We were okay with waiting, asked for some menus, and sat down. No one brought the menus, so we just ended up going to get them ourselves. We also picked up a few pastries to bide the time. The menu for lunch looked good....the pastries were, well, lackluster. Probably wouldn't spend money on them again. The only one worth eating was the apple turnover. So we waited until 11:15 came and then, being one of two tables with customers at it, attempted to get a waitress. This took quite some time as they were all very busy doing nothing and checking their phones and talking to one another. Once we finally got a waitress we went to order at around 11:25. I got a BLT, the other's got burgers (only cooked to one temperature.....well done, burnt, and dry as it can be). I got chips because it was extra for french fries...never seen that before. We got our food fairly quickly, which is probably the only positive to this establishment. It was rather difficult to get down. I'm not sure how you can mess up bacon, but trust me this place knows how. It was just so hard it hurt my jaw to chew. The other's had difficulty getting the extremely dry burger down as well. Unfortunately, no amount of ketchup could save it. We then spent the next 45 minutes trying to get our check and attempting to pay.Overall, the service is extremely slow (especially since there was no one in the place) and the food is lackluster. The most fun part of the whole experience was the fire hydrant outside the restaurant where was parked that was half buried from when they must have paved the road.

Important Notice We are closed at our College Ave location. Our new building is under construction at Patrick Square. We will be open early Spring 2018 with a bigger and better facility to serve you better. Thank you for your support. See you soon
The service was slow although the restaurant was not crowded. We waited several minutes to be seated as several waitresses buzzed by, without even a Hello. Food, however was very tasty and interesting. Local eggs from local farms. Home-made jellies and jams. Would rate a 5 if customer service was better. Very economical.
