Visitin friends in Owensboro KY and heard about MENDY'S -- had to try it for breakfast and we weren't disappointed -- wide menu and lots of good hot food -- omelets were great - and service too -- small diner-type place -- tables or counter service - priced really good for your wallet

While I generally enjoy the wide range of options at this chain - good for a diverse family, this location was quite a disappointment. We sat in an area next to a table piled up with dirty dishes. Even after the server finally brought us our beverages, the dirty dishes just sat there. Before our beverages arrives, I pointed out the tables that needed to be bused and nothing happened. After we had started eating, I complained to the hostess who did help clean up the area. Eventually the waitress came in to help.The food tasted like it had been sitting out for hours under the heating lamp. The meat was dry. I had to hunt someone down to carve a piece of ham. When it was time for dessert, the chocolate ice cream was out and remained that way for half an hour. The pie and cobbler options were good, but most of the food was simply loaded in fat and not terribly tasty.Definitely a disappointment for a family lunch!

Wheatgrass Juice Bar offers juices, smoothies, Kangen water, salads, vegan plate lunches and so much more. The decor is contemporary and inviting. The owner, Melissa Phillips goes above and beyond to make sure she provides healthy options. She answers all your questions and takes the time to make sure you get everything you need. All of the juices and smoothies I have had have been delicious!! This is definitely my choice for healthy food options!!

What a cute shop in the middle of the Riverfront Area. The display case was so well staged it made you want to try one of everything. The cupcakes were so pretty and very tasty. They share a space with Cold Stone Creamery so you can't go wrong. Cake and Ice cream, the perfect combination. This is definitely somewhere we will be making frequent stops at.

We had four in our party. Three adults and one 13 year old. We all enjoyed our meal and ate all of our food. The menu seemed to have a wide variety of foods. Many were somewhat unique. My nephew had a burger and fries, my wife had a flat bread Pizza, and my brother had the fried catfish. The catfish was delicious and I will get this the next time I am here. I had the Kentucky Hot Brown which was delicious and reminded me of the first Hot Brown I ever had which was at the Brown Hotel in Louisville. We also had the cobbler and it was a nice way to finish off lunch.The Sweat tea is amazing and sweet just as it should be. I have seen the Dinner menu and cannot wait to return. The restaurant is nicely located 2 blocks from Smothers park on the river and 3 blocks from the RiverPark Center.

We frequent Doloresâ quite often for lunch with our office. We are treated just like family the food is always hot and fresh and delicious. You get a lot of food, it tastes great and at very reasonable price. Breakfast is terrific too! Itâs just a down home dive and we love it!
