Don't let the unassuming front fool you. Inside is an oasis from the busy highway. The friendly staff welcomed us immediately. We chose to sit outside in the back patio which was an oasis, with water features, coy, and shady greenery. The menu is full of down-home comfort food. I chose the Cobb Salad, unusual for its addition of black beans and corn. The fried chicken on top was crispy and juicy. I also ordered a side of fried okra with ancho chili dipping sauce and it was delicious. The peach cobbler was just like what I grew up with in Oklahoma, delicious and not fancy or pretentious. This is a casual, friendly place for friends and family, but also good for business meetings. Our server Sandy was fantastic.

We needed a spot in New Braunfels for lunch with family...This was an awesome choice! The food was outstanding, the staff friendly and very accommodating. It is off the beaten path, but well worth the search. Very casual and has the option of outdoor seating.

Late lunch on a Saturday. Ordered two cheeseburgers with coleslaw, tea and a diet coke. We ran out of drinks. We were dry for a l o n g time before receiving refills. It took an hour to receive food. I know the time due to texts I received. The burgers were good. Only one leaf of lettuce and one slice of tomato. Skimpy in my opinion. Cole slaw was good. Service was poor. We were given drinks to go.

Had breakfast on a weekday. It was very busy, but we were able to be seated Immediately. Sarah our server was very attentive. But not obtrusive. My sister ordered the French toast and I had the waffle. Both were so tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I would definitely eat here again.
