Was looking forward to trying this coffee shop based on location---just a mile or so from me and great review in local newspaper. My adult daughter and I stopped for light lunch a few weeks ago--they have desserts and hot sandwiches to go with tea, coffee etc. We ordered a croissant type sandwich with cheese and spinach in it. They do no prep on site except to reheat in toaster oven. First one was almost burnt on bottom---dark brown, hard. Ordered a second one and told server/attendant. Second one was not heated as long but still way overheated, tough. Just not as dark brown on bottom. Thought overpriced for what you get. Ambience interesting---newsroom decor. Will not be back.

Great breakfast/lunch venue that you cannot go wrong in dining here. Every menu item is prepared in a high quality, typical breakfast lunch cafe environment. Plenty of seating but allow for crowds as this location is always busy. Service was great, and crepes with fresh strawberries were outstanding. Hash browns are traditional shreded and mouth watering. Enough food to take home for 2nd meal.

Another one that's been here for awhile. Not sure why you guys are missing all the Mukilteo Restaurants.
Whenever we are in the Seattle area, we make it a point to eat at this Mukilteo family favorite. The menu is large with interesting combinations. I ordered Joe's Scramble which was more like an omelet and filled with ground beef, onions, Swiss and Parmesan cheese, spinach and mushrooms. It came with either pancakes or hash browns and toast. I ordered the pancakes. The portions are gigantic and delicious. I ended up eating only a third of my meal, taking home the leftovers for two more meals!! My husband ordered a special French Toast which tasted like Churros.which he enjoyed. This restaurant is casual and family friendly. The staff is energetic and friendly. This restaurant is consistently good, and delicious. The prices may seem a bit high but you almost always have a large portion to take home for another meal. We always enjoy eating at this local favorite restaurant, and will return whenever we are in the area visiting family.

Specialty Cafe serving our in-house roasted coffee from Ethiopia, Guatemala and Panama. Fresh, organic gelato. Locally sourced pastries. And local craft beer.
The espresso here is strong and unlike any I've ever had. Served with a club soda chaser. As for the gelato, it's better than any that I've had in Rome or Florence Italy. I'm not kidding. It's so creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Lots of great flavors to choose from. Baci flavor is my personal favorite. One of their most popular flavors is Rice and with good reason: smooth and creamy, subtly sweet with bits of cooked rice in it, reminds me of homemade rice pudding. The service is always great, and the atmosphere is always fun and friendly.

First visit : Garden skillet, ole scrambler and California Benedict with a side of biscuit and sausage gravy on the side. Awesome Hollandaise sauce. Fantastic breakfast! We scored it an average of 4 for the entire meal. Coffee could be better; was too weak. Will definitely be going back.

We stopped for a snack and hot drink as a mid-day pick-me-up. Ambiance: Loved the open layout, interesting decor, and open fireplace. Food: The desserts were yummy including yummy pies and huge cinnamon buns.Service: rather slow and low energy. Prices: kind-a pricely, but seems to be common for the area.
