After walking for a few hours in Ljubljana, you can felt a hunger, and so did we. Researching TA before our visit to Ljubljana, Slovenska Hisa was my choice to discover it. Located on a very popular walk promenade by the river Ljubljanica you cannot miss it. Friendly staff and nice welcome is always a good sign. We ordered big coffee, apple juice, homemade ice tea and a plate of slovenian authentic food like cheesee and ham, eggs with bacon and dried tomato. Everything was very delicious, we were satisfied with location, service, food and price which was reasonable.Recommend for a visit !

We had put this cafe on our âmust visitâ list before we went to Ljubljana. For a while, we werenât sure where it was (we couldâve used apple maps!) and then whilst trying to shelter from the rain, we stumbled across it! Great little place to grab a bite to eat. Hubby had soup & I had croque monsieur. Both arrived hot, fresh and tasty. Nice cold beers to go with them. Reasonable prices. Would recommend.

The cafes and restaurants in the Ljubljana city center offer many dining options. Strolling along looking for lunch, the menu for Cajna Hisa looked promising; I stopped in and had a solid lunch at a fair price. Read on for details. It was blazing hot and, while there were people sitting outside under umbrellas, it was a little cooler inside. The waiter took my order in a few minutes with my drinks (fruit tea and water [with gas]) arriving a few minutes later. The caprese salad featured large slabs of fresh tomato with equally large slabs of mozzarella; an always tasty dish (when done right as it was here.) The salmon sandwich came on a fresh multi-grain baguette and was served with sliced egg and cucumber. It was good but could have use more salmon. The salad, sandwich, tea and bottlled bubbly water came to 15 Euro. It was worth it and I'd return if I again needed lunch in the Ljubljana city center

Dvor Tacen is an excellent place to stay, providing a-high standard of accommodation situated conveniently access the centre of Ljubljana and major roads when visiting other key places of interest. On arriving we were welcomed by one of the owners, who was friendly, supportive and very informative about where to eat, travel, pal easy to visit and the weather! Other staff were also attentive, friendly, approachable and professional when dealing with you as a customer. They weird instrumental in assuring our stay was a positive experience. Our bedroom was very spacious, well decorated and maintained with a comfy bed and generous sized bathroom. All areas of the accommodation was exceptionally clean and a pleasure to stay there. The hotel has a very good bar / cafe area where you have breakfast, throughout the day and evening. Itâs also a great facility to access when you return in the evening to partake of a late evening coffee / drink.
