Kythira (/kɪˈθiːrə/, /ˈkɪθɪrə/; Greek: Κύθηρα [ˈciθiɾa], also transliterated as Cythera, Kythera and Kithira) is an island in Greece lying opposite the south-eastern tip of the Peloponnese peninsula. It is traditionally listed as one of the seven main Ionian Islands, although it is distant from the main group. Administratively, it belongs to the Islands regional unit, which is part of the Attica region (although at large distance from Attica itself).

We had a great day at Zathea cafe and the coffee was better than the rest of the places around Agia Pelagia, however, terribly expensive as you can see at the receipt (3.5â¬) for a freddo espresso. I am afraid they are charging by the time you spend on their seating area by the beach, so do ask for the price before ordering as it can be really expensive.Ice cream selection and waffles are of good quality and the people in charge are kind enough.

ÎεÏάνÏα cafe is located in Chora and therefore has a lovely view of the surrounding landscape that stretches to the sea. I have been there several times for a drink but they also have light meals and sweets. Their coffee and wine is very good and it has a very relaxed vibe. The staff are friendly and efficient. I like to sit on the veranda and look out to the sea but the interior seating area is also comfortable. It is my favourite place in Chora and is well worth a visit.

The village of Agia Pelagia is beautiful with great restaurants and shops. We sat at Eprepe by the water for coffee and a swim. Came back for lunch the next day! No fuss, friendly staff and a great location. Worth a visit.

The best place in island for brunch, coffee, dinner and cocktails!!! Everything by the sea! You should try Beef Burger Extra Special, Kytherian salad with the traditional Kytherian rusk and of course homemade pizza. For brunch I would suggest Pancakes.I also enjoyed Coco Mango smoothie!Definitely recommend it!

Very artistic place and delicious food with a variety of international cuisine. The staff were really gentle and help us find nice spots on the island. We recommend Mexican fajita and the Japanese teriyaki chicken. We also had breakfast with homemade marmalade. Thanks for service to Dimitris the owner you should meet him.
