Although we spoke little German, the staff were amazingly helpful & made us feel very welcome. The brunch was one of the best with lots of variety & imagination. We would go back any time!

My Airbnb host recommended this place and I was not disappointed. Pleasant wait staff. The croissants were indeed some of the best I've ever had. And the coffee drink (Latte Macchiato) was excellent. A nice little park across the street. Outdoor and indoor seating.

We went there to give it a test and honestly, they try hard and are worth s visit. The soup was ok, my wife said too much salt but - this is taste. The burger were ok, the avocado sandwich came late but was ok as well. The thing I was a little bit disappointed about is:There are a million outstanding, tongue blowing dishes out there, why do you focus mainly on burgers?!?!?Try some cooler stuff, please!

Nice Bar on a landing stage, with beach chairs and tables. We offer cocktails, steaks, fish, burger, pizza & fresh salads and a lot more. Really good place to enjoy the view and relax.
Watch the boating activities fairly far out in the bay or have a swim on the the premises. Or maybe just sunning? The Seebar is a superb stop on a walk or bike around the pleasant sea front of Kiel. If you go by car, you can even park free of charge across the road (if you find a spot that is!). I understand that the main food courses can be a bit of a hit or miss but each time I have been there locals buy their various cakes to go with the very good coffee.

First off, it's definitely one of the best coffees I have ever had! So much so that I got one here most days I could while visiting Kiel. As coffees go however, it's a bit on the expensive side considering the small size of the cup you get (both sit-in and take-away).This is one of a slew of Hipster café's that have opened in the area. While it is definitely a good one, it has room to improve, especially in the areas of service and value! This is a 20+ seat restaurant that also provides take-away. Whether eating in or out, you are supposed to place your order at the counter. But at the counter there is standing space for about 5 people! So it gets crowded (and part of the reason I didn't have a coffee there everyday)! I can guess why the restaurant has this policy, but it's flawed: if you offer eat-in, then there should be table service! The other issue with the service was the speed. In typical German style, the time from ordering to receiving the food was AGES! I have gotten used to this apathetic approach to customers in run of the mill restaurants, but in a modern hipster joint where I am paying significantly more, I expect more! The food is OK but not amazing and the choice is very limited. This coupled with the speed and prices makes me question how good is the value offered?!All in all I would recommend trying it for yourself, even if just for the coffee. I will probably go back when I return, but it won't be top of my list for places to eat!
