We stopped by Beyond the Pallet as our last "fun stop" before heading home from vacation. Much to our disappointment, the coffee was mediocre. By mediocre, I mean not even in my personal top 10. The baristas were less than friendly. There were little kids running around behind the counter and they had a kid running the register, which would have been fine if she had known how to run a credit card. I wouldn't recommend this coffee shop.

Excellent food served piping hot. All fresh and made to order. Favorites were taco salad and hamburger steak with onions.

When we walked into the place I thought "ummm, I don't know about this" but we have been in places like this before and the food had always been good. This place is no exception. Not much to look at but good food simply prepared. I would have given it 3.5 stars if I could.

Friendly atmosphere and lots of choices on the menu. Seems this is where most townfolks come for lunch as well. Busy place.

We stayed at the adjacent Days Inn and ate a comped breakfast here. The food was served quickly, tasted great, and left me with nothing to complain about. I especially liked the service, which was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I'd eat breakfast here again, even if it wasn't comped.

Simple food with a big taste. Everything here tastes great. The rolls, the honey butter, the salads, teas and especially the avocado chicken salad which is the house specialty. The service was "A" number one. The staff were very personable and talkative which made it a great experience. The green salad with the avocado and chicken salad was wonderful. The soup was excellent. The venue sparkles and we would return.
