This is a large, bright space with plenty of windows.We have been there twice -- thinking the first visit might have been too soon after they opened and wanting to give them a chance to get the kinks out.The food was average. There are not enough vegetarian options. I wanted to take a slice of cheesecake home and asked for the fruit topping to be put in a separate container. They couldn't do it. Don't waste your calories on the chocolate or cheesecake slices. They were both dried out. Perhaps they were sitting out too long. The place is REALLY noisy -- there is nothing soft to absorb the hubbub. The tables are very close together. There is one tiny, secret, quiet alcove, but as to its location......as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle once wrote, " I would love to tell you, but then, of course, I'd have to kill you." No, actually, it'll be more fun to find it yourself. Clue: it's next to a window.Finally, watch your step at night. It's not the fault of Zupa's, but there are no lights at that end of the parking lot.

You can purchase food from the bakery, pizza section, chef case deli, sushi section (hand rolled daily), cheese section,hot soup section ((portions start at $4.49 for small and go up to $9.99 for a large serving), the rotisserie chicken section (organic or regular), and/or the salad and hot bars ($8.99 a pound).You can eat your food in the dining area which has tables and counter seating. Whole foods supplies cups, plates and flatware; a water fountain and an ice dispenser; a microwave; and a variety of seasonings and condiments -- Old Bay, ketchup, mustard, Real Salt, liquid aminos, Tamari soy cause, 365 barbeque sauce (house brand); and so on. The washrooms are at the back.It doesn't compare with nearby Mariano's. It doesn't even compare with the Northbrook Whole Foods. But if you're nearby and in a hurry, you can get a quick meal here.

Panera Bread specializes in fresh delicious breads -- firm crusts with soft centers. If you like a little variety, the menu allows you to pick two -- which can be soup and salad, soup and one-half sandwich, or salad and one-half sandwich. Each combo also gives you the choice of an apple, a small bag of chips or an extra slice of baguette. We are visiting from Oregon and found The Cherry Pit Cafe online, and wow what a great surprise. Fast friendly service, a menu full of delicious choices ranging from the good old basics to waffle sundaes to chx tamales with mole and much more! A great place to take the kiddos they offer chocolate milk with whipped cream and sprinkles, what fun!

Iâm new to the area, so trying to get a feel for the local options. Based on other reviews, I went over after church for a bite. The menu for breakfast and lunch items sounded amazing. I had a hard time deciding, but finally settled on the seasonal special of pumpkin pancakes. Iâm a purist when it comes to maple syrup, so paid the extra money for ârealâ syrup. The meal was delicious! I ordered a side of chicken sausage since itâs not often you can get pork-free options on a breakfast menu. The free flowing coffee was great as well. Overall, itâs a good option for brunch. Itâs very busy on Sunday morning, but thatâs for a reason! Iâll definitely be back.
