We drove from Saty Mogul to Lenin Peak Yurt Camp; and stayed there 1 night. Teh area around is stunning, with great views of Lenin Peak. You can easily hike from here to many places, and walk around Turpal Kul and other lakes. You can also walk to Base Camps on Lenin Peak. The Yurts are quite basic as are the bathrooms; and it does get cold at night, The meals at the Yurt camps are basic, reasonably comfortable. This is nature, so be prepared for it.

The hike up the mountain takes about 30 minutes. There are amazing views of the town, and beyond into Uzbekistan. The attractions on the mountain include the Cave Museum, the Dom Babura Mosque and the Ene-Beshik fertility cave

The Bazaar is sadly mainly selling products made in China. A sign of the influence of China’s Belt Road Initiative I suspect. Anyway, hidden amongst the stalls selling Chinese crap, are locally made craft and saddlery stalls and the food section is pretty exotic with yellow carrots and other amazing fruits and vegetables and amazing spice stands. Would have had a better atmosphere before Chinese factory made goods exploded onto the scene. Highly recommend but would like to point out out that I found the Osh Bazaar in Bishkek more user friendly but slightly more expensive.
