Please note that the Comrie centre is now closed and all our activities will be carried out at our base at The Scottish Deer centre, near Cupar in Fife. All vouchers include access to the deer centre so it is well worth coming along for a whole day out and enjoy all the attractions and facilities on offer here.
Not only was Raptor World accommodating in allowing me to change my visit last minute they even waited 25min for me to start the Raptor Experience since I was running late. The flight with the Harris Hawk, Barn owl and Tawny owl are something that will forever be the highlight of my trip to Scotland! We had plenty of time with the birds and the whole experience will be remembered and videos viewed over and over for years to come!!! Will definitely bring the family if I am every in Scotland again without a shadow of a doubt!!

Historic walled garden with themes of art & science, containing the longest rose archway in Scotland over DNA pathway, herbaceous borders, potager, espalier fruit trees, Victorian glasshouse, water feature, labyrinth & unique National Collection of daffodils bred by the owner’s ancestors. Beyond are shade borders, an alpine garden, The Heritage and Education Centre and woodland walk to ruined Covenanter’s Tomb.
Backhouse of Rossie, the place we've come the past few years for their daffodil festival. For obvious reason no festival this year, but they reopened this week, and what a joy the summer garden is! I walked the labyrinth of course, I always seem to be the only one who does, we sat and watched the big carp in the pond while listening to the running water. It is the most peaceful place imaginable. We went round the walled garden twice & it just is a pleasure. Very quiet, being a bit off the tourist track, everyone whizzes past on their way to the coast. The little cafe is up and running, well organised with visors and sanitiser, home grown food, their own wonderful apple juice & excellent coffee. It's the first summer visit for us, it won't be the last.

Enjoy the Edwardian splendour of this mansion house, built for Frederick and Beatrice Sharp and their amazing collection. The house was designed by renowned Scottish architect Robert Lorimer. Not only does it have the original furniture, paintings and porcelain of the family but also the Kingarrock Hickory Golf Course, designed for Frederick, a keen golfer and captain in the R&A at St Andrews! Please note the Mansion is open Saturday to Tuesday 1 April to 31 October annually.
Lovely venue with great views, it was a great space for our wedding and the in-house catering was delicious and they were accommodating to our gluten free guests and dairy free guests too! We had a lovely lady help us with planning as it is a historic site and it needs extra care so they have lists of people they work with and we thought it was going to be a nightmare to organise because of this but they really made everything quite easy and relatively stress free (for any wedding)! They were very accommodating and friendly on the lead up to the wedding The rooms were beautiful and well maintained We had all of the outside space too so we got lots of great photos

Covering over 55 acres of countryside, the centre is home to fourteen species of deer from all over the world, Fife’s only wolf pack, otters and other rare breeds including the Scottish Wildcat. You can also come face to face with some amazing birds in the Raptor World Bird of Prey Centre. You’ll learn all about these amazing creatures and enjoy a day that is not only fun, but also provides a fascinating insight into the animal kingdom. More information about daily tours, feeding events, activities and dates can be found on the centre's website. After a busy day getting to know the animals, why not relax and unwind with afternoon tea in the café, or pick up a bargain at the woollen mill shop.Take a walk on the wild side and join The Scottish Deer Centre for a great day out the whole family will enjoy!
We decided to visit the Scottish Deer Centre on a bit of a whim, as we'd previously seen signposts for it. I wasn't expecting much, and didn't really expect that our older kids (aged 10 and 12) would be overly interested. However, we had a really good morning! We bought a bag of feed for the kids to feed to the deer, and were pleasantly surprised that even our germ-phobic 12 year old was happy to feed the deer, having seen that hand washing facilities were available. In fact, she said that she'd had one of her best days ever! The animals are plentiful and seem well looked after, and there was enough to occupy us for a good couple of hours. We somehow missed the demonstrations, but would definitely come back to visit and make sure we went to those. A particular favourite were the otters, who ran over and kept us entertained for quite a while! All in all, a great morning out!

Visited here today with my 5 year old and 7 year old boys. It was small and didnt take long to get round, but the animals they did have were well worth seeing. The zoo was clean and tidy and good covid precautions in place. Staff were lovely and friendly and we had a great visit. Worth going along to support this wee place while they build themselves back up. We will be back.
