«Pont des amours» (loves bridge) From this bridge you can make amazing picture of «lac d’Annecy». Not only this bridge but the lake of Annecy is a romantic place in every season! You can have a picnic in the park. Rent a boat. Swim in the crystal clear lake. A nice walk around the water.. a hot wine (vin chaud) on this romantic bridge, while watching the view... I come often because I don’t live that far away.

This footbridge is a ideal spot for taking photos of the beautiful sight on both side of the bridge. Loved how the buildings were reflected on the water.

. . .if you are driving to or from Annecy and Geneva. Get off onto the 'slow' road' signed for Cruseilles village. Watch for the free parking by the entrance to the old bridge and its gardens. Walk across the bridge to the cafe / shop on the left, over there. Views of the gorge are magnificent. Also do not fail to follow the path across the car park gardens and take the left hand corner down to the suspended viewing platform over the gorge. Well railed, so not to be missed. Enjoy! We did.
