In Saigon you should not drink wine, it is both expensive and low quality. Beer is a completely different story. Tiger beer you can buy from almost everywhere. It costs normally 28.000 in local currency. But in case you would like to enjoy and relax - get out from the sun, 144 Pasteur Street is the address to be remembered. The service there is excellent and the beers they offer have special tastes, I tried ginger beer and an Belgium beer.You need to climb up steep stairs, the brewery is small and silent, a heaven off from the busy street.Hi there, Thank you so much for your review and glad you enjoyed the beers and also the service of staff. Great beers especially the wheat beers. Prices better than the big established craft beer places I went to in Saigon. Nice vibe, chill, pleasant, varied background music. Clientelle mostly locals when I went, I was one of 3 obvious tourists. Didn't try the food. Dear my Friend, Thanks for your coming with selective of Craft Beers.. Hate to compare, but there is another brew pub down the block with a lot to offer. Anyway, Urban Basement is in the right part of town, beer was good and staff friendly. Offered me happy hour discount when I settled the bill which was unexpected pleasant surprise. But food menu was uninspired and the place was empty. Probably great on a busy Fri/Sat.Hi David, Thank you for your feedback and it is value to us. It is quite empty for the happy hour time. The place normally will get crowded after 8pm everyday and weekend. We hope you enjoy our happy hour and our beer collection will update every month. Second time here in 2 days! The diversity of range is a real bonus, good food too. Only downside is the dreaded ++ added VAT and service charge which to be fair is not hidden and on display for all to see. But it doesnât happen in the other bars Iâve been to (such as PSBC) 5* but for this small gripe!Hi U7686QFandrewr,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!
