Top 6 Boat Tours & Water Sports in Santos, State of Sao Paulo (SP)

July 16, 2021 Timmy Ribble

Although it's also the location of the Latin America's largest seaport, Santos isn't just a boring port town. The city of 420,000, just 75 kilometers from São Paulo, features a seven-kilometer stretch of beach divided into just as many social cliques as you'd find on Ipanema. A verdant promenade separates the beach from the seafront condos and hotels, along which families and friends walk, amble, bike, skate, rollerblade, throw frisbees, you name it. Less sandy points of interest include the Museu do Café Brasileiro (Brazilian Coffee Museum), the Aquário Municipal (City Aquarium), the Orquidário Municipal (City Orchid Garden) and the Neo-Gothic Santos Cathedral.

Carolina Ratto

From the moment I was born I am connected to the sea, to the swimming teacher mother and the sailing father, it could not be different. I discovered kayaking three years ago, and I am part of a champion team. I am at sea 7 days a week for at least 1 hour a day. I am friendly, friendly (and humble, rs) and always willing to make new friends. A day without a paddle is a lost day!

5. Passeio de Escuna em Santos

Passeio de Escuna em Santos

Departing from the Edgard Perdigão Bridge, at Ponta da Praia, and with the wonderful 1584 Barra Grande fortress as a backdrop, we will bypass the island of Santo Amaro (Guarujá), passing in sequence through the beaches of Góes, Cheira Limão, Sangava and Palmas Island. At this point we will have an excellent view of the ships that are in the bar awaiting the mooring order.
