Reviewed By HMPGreenockexcellent place. Unfortunately if ice is required it is £10 a bucket, and although the proprieters no doubt try their best, it is not a 'welcoming' place, and very strictly run. It is a shame, as the food is good. We personally would never return.

In a quiet glen, with panoramic views across Loch Caroy, Canna & Rhum Islands, & the MacLeod Tables, Balmeanach House provides a wonderful 'getting away from it all' holiday retreat, although very well situated for exploring Skye.From the moment you arrive Hospitality is our byword and our aim is to spoil you! From the special touches in your room, sumptuous breakfasts, seasonal Log & peat fires &'that little extra something' making us a little bit...more-ish!
Wonderful stay on Skye
Reviewed By karenmZ1551QZWe have just spent 4 nights at Balmeanach House and we had a wonderful stay. Arlene made us feel so welcome and the rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic and even our dogs got their breakfast sausage. The views were amazing and our hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to visit. We would highly recommend a stay here and would love to go back.

Modern B&B centrally located in Skye. Friendly family home with stunning loch and hill views. Comfortable rooms fully equipped with all mod cons. Evening meals by plenty of prior arrangement. Strictly no smoking.

Há 2 tipos, basicamente: um tradicional café da manhã inglês e sua alternativa vegetariana. Você deve preencher esta ficha e entregar na recepção. O ponto fraco é a ausência de blackout na janela e a TV não estava funcionando.

Best B & B ever
Reviewed By louise jFoxwood really is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Fantastic location, very central so a perfect base. Peaceful and serene with breathtaking views over the Cuillin mountains. David and Katrina were welcoming, knowledgeable and all round lovely people. We felt completely at home and able to relax in their warm and cosy home. The beds were so comfy and the breakfasts amazing. Don’t hesitate to book a stay at Foxwood. You really won’t regret it. Thanks so much David and Katrina we loved it. Louise, Alan and Evie ?

Callum's local knowledge was of immense help. Plenty to eat for breakfast, oh by the way the most comfortable bed you could wish for ???
