We popped in here for a reviving coffee halfway through a walk. We hadn’t long had breakfast, but we were tempted by the fresh scones. We shared a Bakewell scone – it was absolutely superb. The gentleman behind the bar was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and he even supplied us with directions for the next stage of our walk – helping us to discover a lovely route that wasn’t in the guide book. We went back two days later and made sure we were there at lunchtime. The cranberry and brie toasties were outstanding. The décor is smart and stylish and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

Unique accommodations in a converted 18th-century windmill.
We had our wedding with 11 of us at Cley Windmill over 2 days and 1 night and it was the most perfect day. Laura, Donatas and all the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Emma Bay Trading Food deserves 5* for the excellent food and the decorations by Bev were wonderful. The Windmill in itself is amazing and a very special place. We will definitely be booking a room for our anniversary ❤️ XX

An elegant guest house set in the picturesque village of Cley-Next-The-Sea, overlooking the vast salt marshes of the North Norfolk coast. Four beautifully furnished en-suite double rooms provide luxurious accommodation in this stunning part of the world. Experienced chef James Walker offers delicious cooked and continental breakfasts, as well as gourmet evening meals on Fridays, using the freshest seasonal produce, locally sourced when possible.
We spent two nights here and thoroughly switched off and relaxed. The house is stunning with an eclectic mix of furnishing which works so well. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jennie, the owner, and shown to our room. Absolutely spotless with everything you could wish for. Sumptuous bedding, lovely toiletries in the bathroom, a coffee machine and fresh milk. Breakfast consisted of cereals, home made granola, freshly baked bread and pastries, a huge selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice - all of this was before the full English breakfast and other options! There was only one other couple staying and so we could park on the front of the property although the free parking at the Village Hall really wasn't far at all. Overall there really wasn't anything I could change and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I don't usually return to places, preferring to try new places each time, but I think we would definitely return to Old Town Hall House. Thank you x

This place has changed hands and is now called The Harnser. It's had an upgrade and is really rather nice. The people running it are very friendly and welcoming. It's definitely an improvement on what was there previously.
