Does time ever pass in the Florida Keys? Everyone and everything in Key West seems to go at its own pace, right down to the ice melting slooooowly in your margarita glass. Of course, it’s not all limes and leisure – Key West is known as the “Winter White House” because of its appeal to visiting U.S. presidents, and the island has been home to literary greats like Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams. The diving here is phenomenal, as is the kid-friendly Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center.

We chose Lagerheads for our Welcome Party, for all our guests on our destination wedding (2.21.2020) I worked with Michele and they laid out a great spread of tacos, Cuban sandwiches, salad and ceviche appetizers! Despite the weather being crazy that night, the event was a hit! Everyone loved Lagerheads! Thank you & your staff for a memorable night! Riki & Tyler

This was definitely one of the busiest and most popular attractions on Key West and everyone is so good about helping each other take to document this landmark.

A lovely place to spend the afternoon! For $20.00 you get 2 chairs and an umbrella placed where you like and face the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. There are restrooms on the beach as well as a sand volleyball court. Take a walk on the pier and get some great photos of the beach and shoreline. One of the perks here is that “Salute” Restraunt is located right on the beach so you can have lunch on your bathing suit as long as you put on shirt and shoes. The view is wonderful, as you eat the ocean is right there.

A pretty public beach; several vendors rent water sports gear and beach chairs.
Very nice, clean, relaxing beach. The water is warm and fairly shallow quite a way out from shore. No overcrowded, either. It was a great experience.

The only beach in the Florida Keys where dogs are welcome to take a dip.
Yes it’s small and yes it can smell from the sea grass but it’s perfect if your puppy enjoys the ocean and your in key west. There are hardly any spots or info for our fur friends here so be kind when you come to enjoy the view and water. P.s. (Watch for rocks) Have a cocktail after at Louie’s, they also are kind and have an amazing view! ????????
