Bexhill-on-Sea (often simply Bexhill) is a seaside town situated in the county of East Sussex in South East England. An ancient town and part of the local-government district of Rother, Bexhill is home to a number of archaeological sites, a Manor House in the Old Town, an abundance of Edwardian and Victorian architecture, and the famous De La Warr Pavilion: today a centre for contemporary art – which has featured the work of Andy Warhol, Cerith Wyn Evans and Richard Wilson amongst others – and an auditorium, where Bob Marley had his first UK appearance and has since seen performances by Elvis Costello, Goldfrapp, Ray Davies, Years and Years, Pati Smith and Lauri Anderson.

Intentionally made no plans for Valentines night, but having been eyeing up the BA for several weeks, I grabbed my chance and hubby obliged. Robin at the micro bar, had answers to all our questions and we were quickly furnished with a couple of rather decent halves that really hit the spot. Hubby loved it, because there was no music so chat was easy, fuelled with the necessary dry roasted. Several halves - each a different brew, all excellent - and lots of chat with both hubby and Robin later, we rolled home. Already on the CAMRA radar, despite having been open for only a matter of weeks, we look forward to sharing this particular GEM with buddies ASAP.

Kerrys is unique in as much as you will find it hard to find a place like this where you can enjoy fish and chips in a wine bar that serves alcohol with a lovely sea view. They have an arrangement where you can order your fish and chips 3 doors down at the Minnie Berthas chip shop and they will then bring it round to you in Kerrys. There is a choice of sitting inside or out. They provide daily newspapers and WiFi. The view is of the yacht club and the sea. Enjoy

My husband and I popped in for breakfast this morning and were really impressed! Enjoyed a freshly cooked English breakfast attractively served good sized, reasonably priced, excellent service ! Don’t understand why it was so empty - this is a gem!! Clean and attractive surroundings- toilets scrupulously clean. Mr and Mrs Rhodes thoroughly recommend this place so forget what the local guides tell you !

Really good to see a new venue in Bexhill-On-Sea during these weird times . Total refurb of the pub, with restaurant due soon, yet offering great food from the BBQ project. Good selection of quality beers and wines. Will be back very soon.
