We went to "El Rodadero" (close to Santa Marta) in my last holidays. We were looking for different restaurants every night. The last day we arrived at this one (unfortunately the last day, t could have been sooner). From the outside it looks very simple... (like a take away food type of restaurant)... we sat at the table and got the menu... prices were fantastic.... so we thought, lets wait until dinner is served... Nothing to say.. absolutely beatiful food. We ordered 4 different dishes.. and each of them was great... I just need to say that "Asadero" means "place to eat bbq" therefore if you are after pizzas and pasta... do not come here.

Wonderful little place, very clean and comfortable. The owner was very attentive but not hovering. There were three of us in our party. I ordered the braised ribs and they were fabulous. The other ladies had a pork sandwich and said it was delicious. This was a little off the beaten path which made it even more charming. If I get back to Santa Marta I will dine here again.

As you´ve spent some time in Colombia, you´ll come to realise not all restaurants are alike. With a place as cheap as Caribbean Wings, I should´ve known what I was signing up for. The wings are actually tiny, yet it is marketed as a proper meal because of the huuuuge potatoes. The main advantage of this place though, is the fact that for once you don´t need to ask for sauces, which make both the wings as the potatoes pretty decent.
