I had never been to this place but had heard good things. I ordered 2 ordinary things, ribs and chicken. The chicken had no smoke flavor at all. It was white and tasted like it was cooked in a pressure cooker. Ribs were OK but nothing special. Price was high for BBQ, much less bad BBQ.

Stopped by this place for lunch as we were driving to see some property in St. Cloud. Not a huge fan of BBQ but wow this place was amazing. The sauce is claimed to be a homemade recipe that was outstanding! We ordered the Sargeant 589 Special, Brisket and Ribs with Mac and Cheese. Do not pass this up!

Quintessential small town locals place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. Like stepping back in time with the original furnishings, wood accents & large fireplace The staff are super friendly with that southern hospitality. We have only dined here for breakfast. We are always seated immediately & the food is served quickly. Usual fare of eggs, meats, omelettes, pancakes & more. Reasonably priced simple food.
