Went for the Friday Evening Ribeye special and boy it didnât disappoint. Itâs a huge and very good cut. Very tasty. Will be back for sure.

Nice cozy friendly place to eat. The large BBQ Salads are the best anywhere! The service is great. The Salads are full of bbq meat instead of tiny proportions like other places.
The place is nothing fancy, just a lunchroom and counter. Waitress was courteous and cheerful. I ordered the Pork BBQ Plate with Two Sides (I chose fries and slaw). The large platter had plenty of BBQ. Instead of the pulled or sliced pork I'm used to eating, this was cut into small (1/2") cubes and was already covered with some delicious sweet BBQ sauce. My first bite had me thinking I had accidentally picked up a cube of fat, it was so-o-o tender. But no sir, that entire mound of chopped BBQ bits was the same way. I have no idea how they cooked it so tender. Absolutely smoky delicious, truly some of the best BBQ I've ever had. As I was leaving I remarked to one of the other patrons how good it was, and he asked if I had tried their Wings yet. So apparently a return visit is in order.

Went to this franchise (I presume) of the original Irondale AL location. The food was decent, although the fries were not anywhere near as good as the original. The only other complaint is a pet peeve of mine, the waitress calling me honey and sweetie, neither of which is accurate.

I stop here anytime I'm traveling I-20 between Birmingham and Atlanta and get something for myself and a treat for my relatives. We even order our Thanksgiving and special occasion dinners from here (their dressing is great). When I stopped last Thursday, his daily lunch special was a grilled pork chops with mac & cheese and black-eye peas. I had never seen a pork chop that large!! When they lifted the lid off the steam table tray, the scent would make you want to eat all of them. That was the best pork chop I've eaten in years!! It had just enough fat on the edge to give it even more flavor but it was already juicy and delicious. He is considering making these available every day but until then, go on Thursday for a real treat.
