You can count on quick and friendly service at this restaurant. I like the small pulled pork sandwich. The fried onion tanglers, Caesar salad, and baked potato casserole are my favorite sides. The jalapeno beans are good too. I have enjoyed this restaurant more for take-out as opposed to eating in. When eating in, it seems like fast-food due to the atmosphere. The quality of the food, however, is much higher than fast-food.Note: This restaurant sometimes has good specials if you sign up for their emails.

I'm a barbecue novice from where barbecue is not a thing. So I don't have any biases one way or another. I just know that this place was a lot of fun, and the half chicken with sweet sauce, and sweet potato fries, was delicious.

We stopped in for lunch on the way to Kansas last weekend. We had the grilled chicken salad and the grilled cheese sandwich with chips. It was probably the best grilled chicken salad I have ever had. The sweet vidalia onion dressing was awesome! My husband really liked his meal as well. We sampled a couple of their beers and were very pleased with those! Great staff, great food and great beer! Can't ask for anything more!

Having eaten here many times over years of visiting family in Lee's Summit, I've always been pleased with this spot. I've enjoyed a number of dishes, but now tend to default to the burnt ends dinner, which in my experience has been invariably moist, tender, and flavorful. Good service here, plus they'll let you substitute side dishes freely.

Chose this place because it was a modest drive to where we were staying and well rated. Most of the other BBQ places were rated at 4.1 to 4.3. Jazzy B's was at 4.7, and I could taste why.Colbern Road is not a busy place, the building is bright primary colors. The proprietor, himself, guided us through the menu choices. The crab ball appetizer was delicious. The burnt ends melted in your mouth. Ribs were a dry rub. The baked beans were the best of the sides. Perhaps most memorable was the spicy sauce. The hot was offset by an unanticipated whisper of fruit flavor. Suited me to a "T".I realize that each person has different tastes, standards, and expectations for BBQ. We tried many in our recent sojourn in the KC area and this was our personal favorite. There were a number of vegetarian and fish/seafood choices here as well.

I have been to this restaurant on a couple occasions. Previously, I have had no complaints except I have always found the servers to be trending toward a slightly rude attitude (no different this time). Our party of four went to a late dinner. We were seated quickly, but the place felt a little âstickyâ and in need of a good cleaning. It was so smoky (not visibly) that at least 3 of us complained later that our clothes smelled of smoke. Before you tell me that this is a barbecue joint, rest assured that I have been to plenty of places like this and rarely, if ever, have I ever had to wash my shirt to get the smoke smell out of it. Drinks are well-made, but the food was just not there. Two of us ordered pork spareribs only to have the waitress return to our table and tell us they were out. I really canât believe that a barbecue joint would run out of ribs. Are you kidding? I had lamb ribs for something different and they were pretty tasty, though the overall experience of the sauciness of all the food was a little over the top. Burnt ends tended to be overly fatty. As you can surmise, I was underwhelmed and a little disappointed. This restaurant will remain on peopleâs lists of barbecue places to go when in Kansas City. For me, I think this may have been my last time.Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback - It helps make our team better.
