Have always loved this restaurant, first tried it at their Vivo city branch in Sgp. Although the manager uncle is a little fierce, their service is still pretty good and efficient.Food wise, same quality as Singapore, their meat is still delicious when wrapped with their free flow of lettuce and garlic. Ordered their kimchi pancake as well, which is another love! Best thing about eating this in JB. IT IS HALF THE PRICE! LOL.

Daorae JB Located at 79 Jalan Indah 15/2, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You would not except to find a good Korean bbq place in Johor Bahru, well I was amazed that this jem of a place was found. If you love and enjoy Korean BBQ this is the place to be. Ingredients are fresh and tasty the beef just melts in your mouth. Some of my favourites included beef short ribs, pork collar, pork belly, beef bulgogi, beef ribeye. They were very generous with their side dishes Each time we finished the side dishes, the waiters will politely come over and offer to replenish for us immediately, like most Korean bbq places, the waiters will cook the meat for you over charcoal grill. Furthermore the waitpersons are extremely friendly and thoughtful, I felt really 'at home' and comfortable. Overall I recommend this place, So Satisfied, A must try if you ever in Johor Bahru.

Quite an authentic Korean restaurant located near the jetty. It has the full range of Korean dishes, including BBQ. They are very generous with the side dishes (14 dishes including pancake and they are refillable). If you are having BBQ meat, you will also get steamed egg as a side dish! The main dishes are ~RM30 and the seafood stew is RM50. Definitely cheaper than most Korean restaurants in the malls. It also serves complimentary ice cream (choc chip) with cone as part of the dining experience. It's located at the shophouses (level 2) in front of Berjaya Waterfront Hotel so quite an easy landmark to tell the taxi driver.

I stumbled upon Zaituna Restaurant in Trip advisor during a search for good middle eastern cuisine for my trip to Johor Bahru. It was a very impromptu lunch with my cousin and well it didn't fail to impress me. I ordered a Felafel set, Hummus, mixed grill, and Turk Coffee. The way the food was served looked well presented and it tasted delicious. The restaurant was well decorated and they also have the classic floor sitting for an authentic experience. I would definitely revisit again as it is decently priced and the staffs were very friendly.

Did a quick google search for a good dinner place and found this restaurant. Surprisingly crowded and the overall food quality is good. The staff efficiency is also very high - taking order fast, help BBQ the food, clear the empty plate and clearing of the table after dinner is all done in a fast and efficient way. Ordered a 4-5 pax set meat that offer a few dishes of pork belly, chicken and beef for BBQ plus Korean pancake and soup. The whole set is too much for a small family of 4 but we manage to clear as much as possible. The seafood soup is great with a lot of fresh ingredients. The BBQ seasoning is good for the chicken and beef but I think Pork can be ignored as it is not as good. Include a full range of condiments, tea and a stick of ice-cream for dessert. Overall value for money.

Naughty Nuriâs is no more but Naughty Bali seem to be filling the shoes and the concept seem to be same. Pork focused dishes - Indonesian theme (where is the Bintang?). We went here for lunch and enjoyed Satay, ribs and Nasir goreng. All of it top notch. Service is good. Cool atmosphere and probably even better for dinner.
