We stopped here while on a road trip. Driving from Nashville to Baton Rouge, LA. We were 'hangry' near Memphis and found this place using Food Around Me (I think, I was driving.)We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the double decker sandwiches to go. You order at the bar and wait there. The bar tender was very helpful and gave us extra sauce to go. Those sandwiches were amazing. We thought we were going to split one and eat the other later. Oh. No. We scarfed those things down quickly! They were absolutely delicious! Meat was tender, flavorful. The sauces were terrific. The rolls were nice.I'm sorry we weren't around longer to return for dinner!!
Momas has been in operation in its present location for 35 years and the standard joke is we're almost ready for our grand opening. Danny Banton and Moma Banton started the business in 1982. Moma Banton retired in 1987 and Danny took on his new and presen
Although, surrounded by Memphis, Barltett holds onto the small town image thanks to places like Moma's. Ken takes the orders and Danny runs the griddle. They sometimes need to move a few people along to make room. I think they might be losing just a bit on coffee. Anywho.Get Danny to make you a fried baloney and don't forget to tell him how you want it dressed. I like mine blackened with lettuce and a light paint'n of mustard. Now, they got other things there, I'm just say'n... paradise in a paper sack, honey!Laissez le Bon temp rouler!

I love Corky's dry rub ribs. We were passing through and i insisted on stopping at corkys for lunch. However i was disappointed this time. The dry ribs were literally thickly covered with the rub seasoning almost appeared to have dropped the lid off seasoning jar. My husband had the wet ribs and they were not hot and very rubbery almost as if they had been warmed up several time. The rolls were delightful as well as our waitress. She was very attentive and extremely nice. Perhaps a bad day in the kitchen.

My wife and I took our family to Larry's recently - we've been going for a number of years. Most of the time I go for, and enjoy, their Ribeye. This time, I decided to try the Pork Chop. Now this is not your normal Pork Chop. They serve a thick, juicy Porterhouse Pork Chop. I've always enjoyed a good Pork Chop, but not everyone does it well. These folks do a very good job.Whether you want a delicious steak or a juicy pork chop, give Fat Larry's a try.

I have had the BBQ sandwich. It was very good & they have several kinds of sauce you can put on it. They have several varietys of BBQ and other food items and deserts. During Spring, Summer & Fall (weather permitting) on Thursday evenings there is a Car Cruise In in the parking lot that usually has over 100 cars.
