Planned a family dinner here since it used to be great and is conveniently located off the highway between Salisbury and Greensboro. Disappointed all âround. Our server/waitress was overtly rude and in a hurry to take our order. She even interrupted us as we were talking to ask if âwe had decided yet what to eatâ...said loudly âsirs, are you ready to order yetâ with an attitude, and no we had not been sitting there for long. She definitely had an attitude. Then the food arrived and we had a different server for a brief time so not sure what happened there but we were glad. Bbq was not flavorful, beans tasted canned, portions small. Desserts looked tasty but we were not offered or asked about dessert so wouldnât know. Not at all what I was remembering from the past. Poor service and food quality, then to top it off she had overcharged us, writing on the ticket that we had more drinks than people at the table. What a shame this place has deteriorated so badly. Wonât be back.

checked trip advisor for a BBQ place close to our route home. Deano's came up with its much deserved GREAT rating!best chopped BBQ, red slaw and hushpuppies. The $6 tray was a perfectly delicious portion.Friendly staff!! The place was packed! Worth getting off Rt. 40 to dine here!!We will be Back!! Carolina BBQ DONE RIGHT!!!Even former President Obama ate here!!â¤â¤

Since North Carolina is know for it's Eastern BBQ and it's Lexington Style BBQ, this is a review on Lexington Style. Speedy Lohr's is the best! Always ask for the chopped, white meet, and you will have all lean meat. They add their tomato based sauce and their red slaw, and chow down! Be sure to get their sweet iced tea! Service is very efficient!

Great place for BBQ but I am the one among my family and friends that isn' t a big BBQ fan...but...all the other items are great too. The staff is fantastic. Kind-hearted, attentive, friendly...can't say enough good things! Highly recommend!

The best thing about Snook's is their great customer service. The counter employee was super sweet, but we should have asked the price of canned drinks and BBQ before we ordered. The total of our bill was over $16 which included 2 canned drinks and a BBQ tray for 2. I was shocked when the tray was brought to us because it looked like a normal size tray at any other restaurant. When the tray was brought to us, the employee said she added extra BBQ sauce but we couldn't ever find it! That's one thing Snook's doesn't have - a bottle of their own BBQ sauce on the table; they only offer Texas Pete, which we appreciate but their BBQ definitely needed more BBQ flavor. I know why the locals rave about Snook's - it's because there isn't any other place close by to buy good BBQ. The dining area is old but clean and it reminded me of the dining area at The Little Red Caboose on Patterson Avenue in Winston-Salem. I can cross Snook's off my list, and I feel no need to go back.

Went on Monday, $1.25 rib night. We shared 10 ribs and the half chicken platter with fries, baked beans and hush puppies. All was good. Service was on point as well.
