Chicken burger was ok but not spectacular. Fish and chips were good. Large piece of haddock with tartar sauce. Not too many options in Crianlarich so you take what you can get

My wife had chicken and bacon pie and I had steak and ale pie both of which were OK. They would have been better with puff pastry rather than short crust. The steak pie had too much gravy in it and it was a bit watery. They were both served piping hot. My wife had their version of an Eaton mess for desert which she said was fantastic.

BEST WESTERN The Crianlarich Hotel's flagship restaurant can be found in the Highland Lounge. The restaurant has been awarded one Rosette by the UK's AA food guide and has won a number of accolades at the Scottish Hotel Awards in recent years. Our menu sh
Beautiful decor in this hotel although upstairs carpet could do with a shampoo. Drying room available for our wet walking gear which was great. Staff were reasonably pleasant and helpful. Hairdryer in the room was not great for my masses of hair, it took forever to dry. Evening meal was very tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was my favourite part and had fresh pastries as well as all the other essentials. Within a 5 mins walking distance to wee shop and local pub was a bit further along the road. Friendly locals and a stunning setting as we set off in the morning on our walk. Probably stay here again.

This restaurant has outside seating as well as a large indoor dining room and the surroundings are very lovely indeed. We enjoyed lunch here. The mussels in a white wine sauce with crusty bread were delicious and the sandwich was excellent. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and overall the place has a good atmosphere. We have been here before quite a while ago and we were pleased we stopped here again.

We recently did a road trip to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and stopped here for a lunch on the way to Glencoe from Glasgow.I'm always a bit wary of pub lunches but we ventured inside as we were hungry. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of thew food. I ordered a soup and a Vegetarian burger with fries - both were well cooked, well presented and very tasty especially the fries. My wife ordered Fish and Chips which came beautifully cooked and my son ordered Chicken Tyndrum with haggis and whisky source. Not only was the food excellent but the prices were very reasonable considering how most restaurants in the region overcharge because of the masses of tourist.Parking was very easy and free wifi was also available
