The views from the cafe are fabulous, overlooking Old Town Bay from above. Great value children's meals which unlike many places actually managed to fill them up.The cream teas complete with delicious cranberry and white chocolate scones are thoroughly recommended

Being regular visitors to Scilly, we are always on the look out for a reliable restaurant. Local knowledge assured us that the Golf Club Bistro and Bar had once again proved dependable under its current management. We were impressed with the level of service, choice of wines and spirits and the straightforward menu, plus a couple of specials. We both had locally caught fish in tempura batter with chips and peas. The fish couldnât have been fresher and it was well filleted and skinned. We happily booked to return in the following week. I hope that folk from town will realise how good this restaurant is these days, plus it has some of the best views on the island. Letâs face it - nowhereâs very far on St Maryâs!

We are a social club on the Isles of Scilly that opens it's doors to non-members and invites them to take advantage of our prices and facilities. Anyone is able to become a member by joining at the bar for the sum of £5. Doing so means you can take advant
We visited the Scillonian club one evening at 8.27pm (they close for dinner at 8.30pm) and ordered a quick fish and chips together with two glasses of wine. The range of food is limited but the elevated view over the harbour is super - and the food came quickly. My chips were underdone but the fish tasted good. People say that the 'all you can eat' carvery on a Sunday afternoon is a highlight!

The Bishop and Wolf is situated in the heart of Hugh Street, St Mary's, Isles of Scilly. The property was brought in the 1950's by the Brewery St Austell, it has since continued to trade as a public house since then, it is one of the oldest buildings on t
Hadnât been in the Bishop for a while, so decided to try their Pizzas! Although the food was very good, only 12 inch available! Nearly everyone ended up taking some home! If you offer takeaway boxes, people will inevitably take away food! Offer smaller alternative, say 8 inch pizza, people will eat, and also stay and drink!!

Traditional village pub, providing quality food using local produce at reasonable prices. Specialising in a wide range of ciders, and great quality ales and a very warm welcome Open twelve- three daily Evening opening hours: Mon, Tues, Weds five thirty -
We booked for dinner at 7:15pm on Wednesday evening at the Old Town Inn (about 15 minutes walk from Hugh town) in order to watch the film 'Why the Whales came' which is based on the Michael Morpurgo book of the same name. The setting is on Bryher so we thought this would be good whilst holidaying in the Scilly Isles. You pay £5 a person to see the film and unfortunately it was a very poor quality print. However it was shown on a big screen with comfortable chairs. So we enjoyed it - although it isn't a great film! The food was OK and reasonably priced (we paid £37.90 for two main meals and two glasses of wine.) But it took over 35 minutes for them to deliver the food to our table after ordering and frankly it looked like they were understaffed. So disappointing in some ways. There are nicer places to eat - although most in Hugh Town.

Good pub. Food and drinks were good. Friendly staff. Donât approve of dogs in bars/restaurants. Outside eating area is lovely but when we visited people were smoking & I didnât like the language they were using , so we sat inside which was a shame because it was beautiful weather.Thank you for your review. We appreciate any feedback given and do hope you will come and visit us again soon!
