Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Selva. Selva is a coastal comarca (county) in Catalonia, Spain, located between the mountain range known as the Serralada Transversal or Puigsacalm and the Costa Brava (part of the Mediterranean coast). Unusually, it is divided between the provinces of Girona and Barcelona, with Fogars de la Selva being part of Barcelona province, and all other municipalities falling inside Girona province. Also unusually, its capital, Santa Coloma de Farners, is no longer among its larger municipalities, with the coastal towns of Blanes and Lloret de Mar having far surpassed it in size.

We wanted to choose this Restaurant because of the closeness to our finca and the pics and comments from guests. The dissapointment regards a table reservation is great. I have written 2 mails - no answer after 4 Weeks. One Tel. call in which they say I have to call again a week before the date of reservation. I wrote and called because we are 10people to make sure we get a table. Finally after 4 Weeks of no reply a very arrogant reply in which I have been told that they dont reply on e-mails only via Telephone but wouldnt take a telephone reservation 4 weeks ahead??? It really seems to me that they had made already enough money 2019 and no need for further guests. So unprofessional in times where e-mail is standard.Como ya te contestamos la última vez, sólo reservamos via telefónica y en horario abierto. Siento que no le guste nuestra forma de trabajar pero llevamos más de 15 años trabajando asà y nos funciona a la perfección!Suerte!

We have been here twice (once for lunch, once for dinner) and both times we had a lovely meal. The waiters are friendly. Food tasted great (we had the burgers, and for dinner the ravioli and an entrecote). The location is nice, at the main square of the town.

Opened since 1931, the Bar Bestard search the satisfaction of their clients, elaborating Majorcan products and serving the best coffees and "Tapas & Variados". In the mornings, we have a great variety of products to lunch, from pies of "mendritxo", up to
We stopped off here for a drink on our way to one of the tasting restaurants in the town. There are only a few decent bars in this small place and this is one of the busiest. It's closed on one night a week so check before you go as there's not a lot of choice otherwise!
Driving through the Taramanta mountains we found this lovely cafe. Great location sun trap and very reasonable.

Stopped here for lunch whilst out cycling, lovely place to stop at in the square at Selva, waiters spoke good English and service was great.I had Twisters Prawns and Patatas Bravas, very disappointing to say the least, these were just frozen items deep fried, in Spain I would expect Patatas Bravas to be homemade, what I got was frozen potato wedges with some form of spicy coating with a massive lump of mayo over the top, the wedges are something I could buy from a supermarket in the UK, one guy had the pizza and he enjoyed it, also the BBQ Chicken Wings were nice.Be careful what you order. We do not agree with your comment regarding the "patatas bravas" because it is one of the dishes where our customers ask us for more.Thank you for your visit and we will take note of your comment.
