Frog & Underground is based in the famous "grands boulevards" district. The pub, once the french beer factory, has kept its original feel with its exposed brick walls and factory style decoration... Try out our genuinely good burger and our great graft be

Many visitors to the adjacent Ibis hotel must surely desire a less sterile breakfast experience than that provided by the hotel, and so may follow our example by exploring the adjacent La Plage. Our advice is to resist the temptation, unless you wish to experience full immersion in wartime Paris. Setting aside the general ambience of potentially lethal cabling and laissez faire customer interaction, the breakfast was spectacular in its awfulness. Strips of greasy fat masquerading as bacon lay alongside an even more impressive "omelette" that, if not manufactured from powdered egg, certainly imitated the authentic texture and taste and was in practice inedible. The promised brace of croissants arrived as a marooned singleton, accompanied by a perfunctory apology for the absence of its twin (yet there was no offer to concomitantly reduce the bill). At least the coffees were acceptable, but at E23 for two cappuccini and a thimblefull of orange juice, the nearby hotel suddenly gained considerably in appeal. Vive la resistance!

Located in the neighborhood of Montmartre, in the lively Rue Ramey, la Traversée is a "bar à manger" where you will always find the finest wines, good beers and a seasonal and inspirative cuisine. For lunch, our formule will include few entrées, mains and
We were recommended this restaurant by someone who had lived in the area, and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, wonderful flavors, amazing combinations of flavors and food, wonderful wine and beer, of course wonderful baguettes, and friendly service. They accommodated us as vegetarians and the chefs cooked something off the menu for us (we were also speaking French to them, which may have helped). We went back here several times. If you are in Montmartre, do visit!

The Tonton Jaures is located 150 meters from the Philharmonie de Paris, the Zenith and the City of Music. They serve a tasty and family cuisine made fresh products only in a warm and relaxed atmosphere with family or friends you will have a good time.
Found this place on Tripadvisor as we were staying quite close. The restaurant has an outdoor seating area but we sat inside but quite close to the window. There were a few things about the place I didn't like too much (outweighed by good - but still worth a mention)- hit and miss service - in the beginning the service was really good, but as the evening went on, the service went downhill... Not being cleared in between courses - the waiter eating whilst serving us! Etc.- Sitting indoors but still getting cigarette smoke blown into my face whilst eating from a table outside due to the wide open windows.- overcooked tuna Now on to the good,- really friendly and helpful waitress, straight away told us about the happy hour, offered to translate the menu and offered the wifi password- really nice cocktails and food (I had the chicken burger and it was really good- affordable - really nice wine- lively atmosphere- happy hour - â¬5 cocktailsOverall we did have a nice night here, and would likely return if we were in the are.

Café Jean is an authentic Parisian brasserie! The dishes are fresh and "homemade". Close to the Vilette, Zénith, Philharmonie and the city of music, Café Jean promises a friendly atmosphere, family and transgenerational with a team of care from 8am to 2am
The main advantage of Cafe Jean was being open during the "dead" hours between lunch and dinner, or for us, between museum and concert. I wish we had chosen one of the many multinational eateries in the area, but we opted for French... and got a very so-so meal and service. I got a pork chop (juicy but extremely fatty) with mashed potatoes (which arrived cold and had to be sent back to be microwaved). My husband ordered a Burger Jean, instead of which they first brought him a steak frites by mistake - which probably could have been a better choice, because the burger was supposed to feature sautéed onions, pickles, and more, but had none of these things, only the soupy sauce which made the bun soggy. I would have mentioned the missing accompaniments to the staff, but my husband so dislikes any public disagreements that he asked me not to. We finished our meal quickly - nothing to savor or linger on.
