The ingredients are fresh and the staff are smiling and helpful. We got there just after a downpour so kinda got ushered down to the lower deck where the DJ was setting up for later. There is a nice beer menu, including local brews and ciders. The burritos are very big and worth the price tag. Really fun option in the area.

Right smack dab on the rim of West Virginia's New River Gorge, we're serving pub food and fun times. Please check our website for hours.
We stayed at Adventures on the Gorge resort for three nights and had dinner here on Monday and there was a live bluegress band as well as a special on wings for a dollar each. You go up to the counter to order, but table service was attentive, gracious, excellent. Our table of six enjoyed a large salad, wings, barbecue sandwiches and brisket and they were all great.Thank you, Anna Margaret! You should check out our new wing night that we just launched this month during your next stay at AOTG! Hope to see you again soon!
So, our group of 12-24, depending on the year, has been coming to Cantrell's for years and we have always loved it..... Until this year:( the Cantrell's are wonderful people and have always provided us with the best service and best river experience ever. Unfortunately, we won't be back. The couple that leases the bar and books the bands is awful! After putting up with drunks opening our cabin door at 0400 looking for their friends, bongo drum circles at 0700, being offered drugs from weed, mushrooms and ecstasy, strangers sleeping on our picnic tables, thick pot smoke and techno bands playing all night, this has been an experience I would need mind altering drugs to forget. We were asked to spend an additional $15 per person required to walk through some outdoor techno/hippie fest to see our friends on the other side of the campsite, and when we refused to do so, we were harassed by the bar owner for attempting to see a show, of music we have no interest in, for free. I don't think I have ever been more insulted. The fact that our group has spent $1260 to raft for 4 hours, cabin rental over $300, minimum $200 in bar tabs at your 35th Star Bar, the $25 for a video of our trip, and tipping our raft guide over $180 for the day.... You'd think I could walk across the campsite, or sit on the bench in front of the bathroom, without being harassed over $30. If you're looking for an opportunity to relax and spend time in the beautiful state of WV, you might want to look elsewhere. If you're wondering what happened to the deadheads after Garcia's passing, this is your place. So much for love, peace, and harmony:(

The restaurant is inside the Quality Inn. There is a large selection on the menu. The Chicken Wing is excellent. The Grilled chicken is also very good. The server is very nice and pleasant. The service is fast, which was a pleasant surprise. The price is reasonable, the special of the week is really a good deal.

Visited here for dinner while we were in the area white water rafting. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs. I had the meatloaf and thought it had great flavor. My wife got steak and unfortunately it was cold when they brought it out. We sent it back and by the time they got it warmed up correctly it was over cooked. They did remove it from our bill though. Their desserts were also outstanding.

The Lost Paddle is the social hub of our little mountain village and we hope y'all spend some time with our ACE family. Kick back with your friends, a cold beverage, live music, and some grub. The Lost Paddle abides.
We were rafting two days on the Gauley and staying in one of Ace's cabins. On check-in, it was recommended that we prepay for breakfast and dinner as there was a significant savings, which we did. We expected the food would be OK, but were pleasantly surprised. Both days we ate dinner at the resortâs Lost Paddle Eatery. Both nights it was only my wife, I and two raft mates. The food was EXCELLENT!! Jim and I enjoyed the sirloin steak so much we had it both nights. My wife had trout one night and salmon the next, both excellent. Jimâs wife had the trout night one and the entreâ chef salad day the second day. Her salad was the biggest entreâ salad I have ever seen, chocked full of good stuff. Needless to say, she could not finish it. I do not understand why people chose to eat elsewhere. The food and service (Priscila and Sarah) were excellent, and at a VERY reasonable price!!!!
