Things to do in Magog
Had read great reviews about this restaurant and after eating here was disappointed.Ordered a 1/2 pitcher of red sangria which was delicious. Was served two disposable glasses(soft drink format) and then noticed couple next to us ordered the same 1/2 pitcher of sangria but had two wine glasses(acrylic)but with colored stems.I ordered a carne(beef) soft shell taco and the beef was very tough & chewy. Also oredred a nachos that was far from tasty.Basically it was tortilla chips in a basket with a small container of salsa(bottled) and some guacomolé.No other toppings,no cheese, nothing. For $8.50 definitely not worth i! My husband ordered 2 pulled pork tacos that were tender and tasty.I should have ordered that instead.Wouldn't go back.

Let's talk location...located on a very busy intersection, you would think it good for business, however, the traffic noice wasn't so they crank up the music instead. OK if you enjoy their choice of music. We ordered from the lunch menu..I ordered the crab cakes with salad and seafood ceviche. Enjoyed both very much. Others were pleased with their meals as well. value for money...questionable. they did have a place inside to play pool and inside area to eat as well.

Food is just ok. Great music and outside seating. Pretty outdoor bar. Cold beer. Enjoy it for what it is. Stick with the basics. Service is good for a busy outdoor restaurant. We had nachos and fried calamari. Both were good, nothing special. The music was great.

Les animaux de compagnie sont les bienvenus sur la terrasse. Les enfants peuvent venir si ils sont accompagnés.We are pet friendly on the terrasse. Childrens with parents are welcome.
Last minute choices on the Magog-Orford restaurant circuit, favourites which include 4 Saisons at Orford. Great choice from its inception. Whoops, closed on Monday so we tried The Burger Pub. Fun. Busy busy with lots of people action, all weekend/holiday warriors. Q-Trip: Take in the slow service, enjoy a fun bar and relax.

I usually do not go in the summer as the place is too busy. Possibly due to the road construction, we were able to get a table. The menu has been reprinted but most of the items are the same except that when ordering a burger, sides are no longer included. They also changed their glasses. I ordered a 10-ounce beer. When I saw the glass, I thought to myself, there is no way that this is 10 ounces. So I kept my glass (that I will return on my next trip) and checked it with a measuring cup. This is a 10-ounce glass but you only get 10 ounces if the fill it 100% to the rim with no space for an additional drop. Obviously they don't and you actually get 8 ounces of beer while paying for 10. This is why on some glasses of beer you sometimes see a line showing 10 ounces because to serve a client 10 ounces of beer you need a 12-ounce glass.Otherwise, food is ok and service was very slow again.
